Can we get the Commissioner's take on the idea of Notre Dame and Michigan State making the rivalry permanent, last game of the year every year?
Big Ten play is done and MSU doesn't have a meaningful conference rival that is available. Now that USC has declared their intention to play in September, it might make sense.
I guess MSU wouldn't want to be scheduling other P4 teams with Notre Dame every year, but it's not any different than Iowa/Iowa State.
Matter of fact, they should play last game of the season, too.
And actually, why don't Nebraska and Oklahoma play each other the last game of the year, too? Same thing.
