Garret Bullish closed his entire 38K ZEC ($58M) short over the past 1.5 hours using market orders, pushing the price up from $1,490 to $1,530 (+2.7%) and driving funding on Hyperliquid above 170% annualized.
He claimed it was a partial hedge, but lost $35M on the short without selling any of the spot holdings.
He remains long 1,333 BTC ($108M) on Hyperliquid.
