Bruce got his ptsd triggered. Once he found it that it was his mom's name, it clicked for em he was weak and asking for his help searching for martha. He knows the feeling of being powerless.
My god pay attention.
BvS does have terrible writing. The entire climax of the film revolves around their moms having the same name. It's the dumbest thing Ive ever seen, and I can't believe with the amount of people that go over these and have to approve scripts that actually survived.
