Restoring the Anglican traditions may involve breaking away from the Uniting Churches umbrella under which, the Word of God has been perverted, our faith has been distorted and our primary mission abandoned.
"Leadership' has given over our places of worship, built by congregations for local community, as social services community hubs, accepting govt funding and surrendering faith mission. We must stand in our Faith, we must work within our means, we must wrest control away from govt paymasters to meet our own community needs as best we can, based on parish and membership, not ego and govt contracts.
This should be an easy choice to make, to cut off the hand of government that holds us by the financial short and curlies, in order to regain our freedom and independence from government.
🏴 Anglicanism has been hollowed out from within by people who seem embarrassed by its doctrine, its history and even its Christian identity. I’ve been guilty of wanting to walk away from it too, but then you realise that walking away is exactly what the infiltrating bastards want. They want the old faith, the old liturgy and the old Church of England to disappear without a fight. So don’t abandon it. Reclaim it.
That doesn’t mean blindly sitting in any parish listening to preaching that clearly contradicts historic Christianity. It means finding faithful Anglican parishes and strengthening them. Fill those pews, support those priests, bring your families, use the Book of Common Prayer, teach the faith, serve on PCCs and synods, and put your time and money behind churches that still take Scripture, the creeds and Anglican tradition seriously.
If every traditional Anglican walks away, the institutions, churches and heritage are simply surrendered to those who changed them. The Church of England is part of our national story. Reclaim the parish churches, the BCP, the creeds, the hymns, the sacraments and the Christian inheritance of this country. Strengthen the faithful parishes. Organise. Rebuild. Reclaim our national Church 🏴
