Good night guys,
Public blockchains make one thing painfully obvious
Your wallet is not really private
Balance
Transaction history
Counterparties
Every move
That is the problem
@AmericanFort_io is trying to solve with FortressName
instead of putting a public wallet address everywhere
you use one human readable name while keeping the underlying wallet protected
the interesting part is that privacy isn’t being treated as the opposite of compliance
zero knowledge proofs can let someone prove what needs to be proven without handing over the entire data set
and the team is also building around quantum resistance and ZK - PoSP for proving control without exposing the original seed
the bigger idea is simple
Privacy from observers
Proof between parties
Compliance without unnecessary exposure
if public blockchains are going to become everyday financial infrastructure
Privacy probably needs to be built into the identity layer, not added after the transaction.
