Player development has been one of the Lakers’ biggest weaknesses. This hire needs to bring real results 👀

Promoting internal staff after a disappointing season just shows the front office has zero ambition to actually bring in outside, elite talent.

If he can develop talent as well in LA as he did in South Bay, that's a huge win for the Lakers

Good move by the Lakers. If you’re serious about player development, promoting someone who already had success in South Bay makes sense.

South Bay has been producing absolute gems. Giving JJ Redick a development guy who actually knows how to win in the G-League is a massive W for the Lakers. 📈

I’m of the belief that South Bay would have won it all in the G League if we didn’t move them boys to the main roster just to sit in the bench

Promoting a guy who just led South Bay to a league-best record and a 12-game win streak is an elite move. JJ Redick is actually building a proper player-development machine from the ground up 📈 #LakeShow
