Last night, I made a simple request on X. I asked if anybody visiting Arlington National Cemetery for Memorial Day would stop by Alan’s grave and leave a photo for our family.
What happened next honestly caught me off guard.
By this afternoon, dozens of Americans from all walks of life had made the walk to Section 60 to visit SSG Alan W. Shaw. Veterans. Families. Complete strangers. People who had never met Alan, but chose to honor him anyway.
For one day on social media, people put aside the constant noise and negativity and came together for something bigger than themselves. My notifications filled with photos, kind messages, prayers, and stories from people honoring not just Alan, but so many of our fallen heroes.
I don’t think people fully understand what moments like this mean to Gold Star families. The fear is never just losing them. It’s losing them slowly over time as the world moves on and fewer people remember their name.
But today showed me that Alan will never be forgotten.
After years of watching social media reward some of the worst parts of humanity, today gave me a reminder that the good is still out there too.
Thank you to every single person who stopped by to visit Alan today, said his name, shared his story, or took a moment to honor the fallen.
This right here is the America Alan knew and loved enough to fight and die for.
And today, y’all showed us all that it’s still here and it’s still worth fighting for. 🇺🇸

Nobody who actually needs a diesel truck is looking at diesel prices and thinking, “Guess I’ll buy an EV.” That alone should’ve killed this argument before she hit post.
Diesel is getting hammered by a global distillate squeeze, with Russian export restrictions and Ukrainian strikes on Russian refining infrastructure adding pressure to an already tight market. We can absolutely criticize decades of American energy policy that left our refining capacity inadequate without inventing some asinine theory that Trump is engineering fuel prices to force Americans into EVs.
This is the kind of economic analysis I’d expect from someone who has never hauled anything heavier than a talking point. 🙄
Diesel is so high people I know who never wanted an EV are now talking about buying one.
It’s mind blowing to realize that Trump is ushering in the Green New Deal better than Democrats ever did by literally destroying American’s ability to afford gas and diesel.
Democrats were going to force you to drive EV’s and gave you a tax credit.
Trump is going to force you by making you go broke and giving in but without a tax credit.
I guess no matter who you vote for you get the Green New Deal.
It’s insanity.
America is one of the richest countries in the world with oil, but decades of America Last and we don’t have the refining capacity to be self sustaining.
You can’t hate the government enough because it clearly hates us.

This may be the most concise diagnosis of the Libertarian Party I’ve seen.
Ideological purity is easy when you never have to govern. Politics requires coalition building, leverage, compromise and the ability to turn principles into actual policy.
Libertarians are great at theoretical exposition and setting lofty goals but they are completely useless and sometimes a detriment to their own interests in the dirty war that is politics.

Just because previous administrations chose not to confront what Iran has been doing for decades doesn’t mean it wasn’t happening. They literally chant “Death to America” in their streets while the regime has spent decades backing proxies that target and kill American service members in the region.
Calling it a “new war” because we finally stopped pretending otherwise doesn’t rewrite history.
Ignoring a war being waged against you doesn’t make it peace. It only makes you appear weak to an enemy already willing to test you. That is exactly why peace through strength matters.

And this is the part of the argument I absolutely reject: the idea that America is somehow obligated to live indefinitely with the consequences of previous administrations getting Iran wrong.
Past failures are not a binding foreign policy. They do not require the next administration to tolerate escalating threats, absorb attacks, or simply accept that Iran gets to operate with impunity because nobody dealt with it effectively before.
You can argue about how we got here. You can assign blame for decades if you want. But none of that changes the responsibility of the government sitting in Washington right now to protect Americans and American interests from the threat that exists right now.

This is the broader problem with the Libertarian Party... Libertarian ideas have had plenty of political influence. Libertarians just haven’t had much success electing people under their own banner.
Ron Paul helped lay the groundwork for the Tea Party movement. Today, many of those same anti-establishment, anti-bureaucracy, individual-liberty instincts align more naturally with the populist movement behind MAGA than they have with any major political movement since.
And who do Libertarians constantly hold up as their own? Ron Paul. Rand Paul. Thomas Massie. All Republicans.
You don’t get to claim every liberty-minded Republican as proof of your ideological influence, then hide behind the R next to their names when it’s convenient.
And now some Libertarians have decided the answer is to check out of elections entirely when they don’t get exactly what they want. That isn’t advancing libertarianism. It’s voluntarily surrendering whatever influence you actually have.
You’re throwing a political tantrum because you didn’t get your way, then bragging that you bear no responsibility for what happens because you refused to participate.
That’s not a flex. It’s an admission of political irrelevance. 😒

I learned this week that many congressional seats are so close that just an additional FOUR votes per precinct could bring the Republican win. It is imperative my friends that we GAIN seats. I understand your frustration with our Congress but we must keep pushing them and more Congressmen like @realBrandonGill could make a huge difference. TO VOTE OR NOT TO VOTE...IT'S NOT A QUESTION
There comes a moment when every generation finds out what it is made of.
Not when things are easy.
Not when the path is clear.
But when faith is tested, institutions are questioned, morale is collapsing, and good men are being told that nothing matters anymore.
That is when you stand.
I think about the Americans who came before us......the ones who crossed frozen rivers, stood behind stone walls, charged beaches, crawled through jungles, crossed deserts, and carried their brothers home.
They were not promised victory.
They were not promised fairness.
They were not promised they would even live to see what came next.
They simply understood that freedom survives only when someone is willing to carry it forward.
If I had been alive in 1775, I would like to believe I would have been tightening my gear, checking my rifle, looking at the men beside me, and preparing to march.
Not because I knew we would win. Because some things are worth standing for even when the outcome is uncertain. That spirit cannot die now.
You can question the system.
You can demand accountability.
You can challenge corruption.
You can refuse blind trust.
But never confuse distrust with surrender. Washington called liberty a sacred fire. Lincoln called our duty unfinished work. Kennedy told us not to shrink from responsibility.
Now the torch is in our hands. Maybe this is our moment. Maybe history is looking at us right now and asking the same question it asked every generation before us:
Will you carry it forward?
I know my answer.
I will not quit on America.
I will not surrender my voice.
I will not surrender my duty.
I will stand.
I will fight lawfully.
I will speak.
I will vote.
And I will do everything I can to leave this Republic stronger than I found it. For those who came before us. For those standing beside us And for the Americans who have not been born yet.
It is our turn now.

People screaming “NO NEW WARS” should probably understand what the word new means before building an entire argument around it. Iran has spent decades using proxies to wage conflict against the United States while maintaining plausible deniability. It’s their whole business model.
You don’t get to ignore decades of history, discover the conflict when it becomes politically inconvenient, and then declare it brand new.

Col. William Higgins deserves to be remembered and vindicated.
Colonel William Higgins. A hero of Vietnam. He was kidnapped in Lebanon by Hezbollah, tortured to death over 17 months by Iranian agents, mock executed after he was dead, and his body was dumped in the desert and not discovered for months.

Hold on. I’ve seen people all over Elon’s internet blaming Flock cameras for this, but after actually reading what happened, I’m not sure Flock is the villain here.
The camera gave investigators a piece of information. They’re the ones who apparently failed to investigate that information properly. There was contradictory evidence, a 911 call describing a different Durango, and her vehicle apparently didn’t even have damage consistent with a crash that killed three people.
A license plate reader is an investigative tool. It isn’t a substitute for doing your damn job. This sounds a whole lot more like piss-poor policing than a Flock problem.
Flock camera pings the wrong Durango, and 23 year-old woman spends 13 days in jail for a crash she didn’t cause.
Lindsey Brooke Isaacs was 23, asleep in her Palm Coast apartment, when Florida Highway Patrol troopers pounded on the door. They told her her black Dodge Durango had killed three people on I-4 near DeBary on October 4, 2025. A motorcyclist and Flagler County official Jorge Salinas and his wife.
She said they had the wrong person. Her SUV was almost new. No crash damage. She asked them to show her the damage. They wouldn’t let her look. They towed the car anyway.
What they had was a Flock automated license plate reader hit.
A camera three miles west of the wreck logged her plate at 9:51 p.m. The crash was around 9:53. That timing should have cleared her, as she was already past the scene. Instead, it became the case.
Witnesses and a 911 caller described a maroon Durango and a partial plate starting 458. Struck vehicles had maroon paint. Isaacs’ plate was RJVN10. Her Durango was black. Investigators searched Flock for a black Durango anyway, locked onto the first one they found, and ran with it.
They alleged “marks consistent with a collision.” Photos of the car in the impound lot later showed no such damage. They never pulled the event data recorder that would have shown no collision. They omitted the maroon description and the timing from the story that put her in handcuffs.
April 17, 2026: arrest warrant. Eight felonies, including three counts of vehicular homicide. Held without bond. Thirteen days in Volusia County Jail, including solitary, she later told the Senate, in a cell with feces on the walls. Facing what she was told could be life.
April 29: $250,000 bond.
May 22: prosecutors drop every charge. Same day, they arrest Alisa Lee Montalvo of Deltona who owned a maroon Durango, plate beginning 458, damage that actually matches.
Isaacs is suing the two FHP sergeants who built the case. This week she testified in the U.S. Senate about Flock’s nationwide ALPR network.

And now we’ve gone from “NO NEW WARS” to Israel to Epstein because apparently we’re just throwing shit at the wall.
Since you brought up Epstein, Trump’s DOJ arrested and federally charged him with sex trafficking minors in 2019. He died before trial. Trump’s DOJ then arrested and charged Ghislaine Maxwell in 2020. She was later convicted.
So spare me the implication that Trump somehow protected the operation his own DOJ prosecuted.
If you have a rebuttal to what I actually wrote, make it. Screaming “LIAR,” calling me a bitch and changing the subject isn’t an argument. It’s a tantrum.

A lot of people in my comments are using Iran to justify their actions, or lack thereof, with regard to the midterm elections. So let’s talk about it…
Iran has never been an abstract geopolitical issue to me.
For nearly 20 years, I’ve lived with the consequences of Iran arming, funding and training proxies while keeping just enough distance from the bloodshed to maintain plausible deniability. My family paid for this strategy personally, along with hundreds of other American families.
That history gets lost in the current discussion. Iran did not suddenly become an American concern because of Israel. Our national interests in the region are our own, and they existed long before the latest conflict.
Iran matters now because its reach extends far beyond its borders. American troops have been targeted. Global shipping and energy routes have been disrupted. The Iranian regime spent decades building a network of armed proxies capable of destabilizing the region, and a nuclear-armed Iran would raise the stakes exponentially.
Trump has also been remarkably consistent on the nuclear question. Anyone who has paid attention over the years knew where he stood: Iran cannot be allowed to obtain a nuclear weapon. He did not conceal his position during the campaign only to unveil it after the election.
Calling it a broken promise requires inventing a promise he never made.
And if this supposed betrayal is your justification for sitting out an election, understand what you’re actually choosing. Everyone else still has to live with the government your absence helps produce.
Do better. Our grandchildren’s future depends on us getting this right.
