If you lived in Jesus' time, it was wrong to eat pork. It's not now. So, commandments and thus sin can change.

Things like this are one of the biggest reasons I’m not Catholic. Not this in particular but the idea that sin/heresy is based on what time period of the church you lived in

Jesus did actually. This account is misrepresenting scripture. God made all animals clean for consumption after Christ’s sacrifice. He did not make it not a sin, he made the unclean clean. If there were unclean food today it would be a sin to eat it.
