SFJ OFFERS Rs. 51 LAKH REWARD TO “STORM & STOP” DILJIT DOSANJH’S 1 NOVEMBER SHOW IN DELHI
“I ask Sri Akal Takht Sahib, SGPC and DSGMC: WOULD it be justified for a Guru’s Sikh to pick up arms for Justice against the perpetrators of 1984 Sikh Genocide?”
“Delhi’s Widow Colony, home to hundreds of Sikh women who were raped in 1984, will bleed once again if Diljit’s 1 November show continues.” — Pannun
Secessionist group Sikhs For Justice (SFJ) has offered a Rs. 51 lakh reward to “Storm and Stop” Diljit Dosanjh’s 1 November show at JLN Stadium in Delhi , challenging the decision to hold a celebratory concert on a date commemorated globally as “Sikh Genocide Day.”
“1 November is Sikh Genocide Day. A day marked by genocidal violence against Sikhs cannot be normalized as a day of celebration. Diljit is choosing to perform in Delhi — the very city where, on 1 November 1984, thousands of Sikhs were burned alive with tyres around their necks, women were gang-raped, and Gurdwaras were attacked and destroyed,” stated SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun in a video message.
“First embracing Bachchan, who gave the ‘Blood for Blood’ call on 31 October 1984, and now performing in Delhi on 1 November — Diljit is continuing the normalization and rehabilitation of the perpetrators of the 1984 Sikh Genocide,” added Pannun.
Invoking the declaration of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the highest temporal seat of the Sikhs, recognizing the November 1984 killings as the Sikh Genocide, Pannun asked:
“I ask Sri Akal Takht Sahib, SGPC and DSGMC:
CAN Sikhs justify Diljit’s action of performing a celebratory show in Delhi on Sikh Genocide Day?
AND
WOULD it be justified for a Guru’s Sikh to pick up arms for justice against the perpetrators of 1984 Sikh Genocide?”
Diljit Dosanjh is heading on a seven-city India tour! 🎤
