$ASTS In the 25+ years I worked as a corporate executive in billion dollar companies, I had the opportunity to both participate in and lead complex global initiatives and projects that included cross departmental teams and technologies. One thing that I never heard from a single leader, nor did I ever speak as a leader was, "Listen guys, we know we communicated our goals and timelines to the team and they've slipped, but please stop asking questions. Please stop asking for clarification and probing the different things that could have gone wrong. Do not try and hold staff accountable and explain their positions or ask what they are going to do to get back to the original timelines. Just have faith that the teams involved will figure it out on their own, be quiet and be supportive. Granted, we are not internal employees and will never have similar access, but we are, in fact, owners of the company. We have the right and, I would argue, the obligation to hold the management team accountable to the goals they publicly set, the performance to achieve those goals and communication from the company when those goals materially slip. The fact that some are receiving shaming push back for doing that is alarming to me. This group has always been a welcoming oasis of information and camaraderie that I've never seen anywhere in my trading career. I hope we don't ruin that for the shareholder base that thirsts for access to this kind of community and that we do not live up to the bear narrative that we are just a bunch of misguided company cheerleaders who ignore and seek to silence negative information and instead simply push the company position. I hope we can continue to be the welcoming, due diligence dense, hyper focused, intel seeking investor group that we have been in the past. To be clear, I still believe in the company and its mission. I sincerely appreciate the information and intel and the time members have taken to share it here. $ASTS perhaps the biggest mistake of the investment base here has been refusing to light a fire under management. Normally, when a company misses self imposed guidance consistently, refuses to acknowledged setbacks or explain what is going on, avoids to provide clarity on the path forward, etc. shareholders demand answers and change. Yet over here, many use their time and energy to squash anything negative that could be said, even when it's true. Or they spend their time acting as the company's investor relations. That's not a shareholder's job, nor is it a way to help your investment. Like it or not the market is cutthroat. You want to be a multi billion dollar company and eventually a hundred billion dollar company? Then you have to take a lot of heat from investors. And honestly, this management has had it extremely easy with this investor community coming up with excuses for them. Excuses the company hasn't communicated. I'm bullish, but I'm also realistic. And as far as the average investor can see, this execution has been rough. And maybe it would not seem this way if they communicated better. Hopefully just saying this out loud creates the bottom we're all looking for.

$ASTS doesn't (only) have a production bottleneck, but they also have a communication + guidance problem. Trust cuts both ways. OG investors had to deal with this non-stop during the early days but as the stock matures and graduates from the little leagues to the big boys club, management needs to rise to the occasion as well. This has ZERO relation with stock price (if we were at ATH the same would apply), but the failure to communicate and stick to timelines that are only a stone's throw away will deter many old/new investors. It's crystal clear there the company has struggled to meet production milestones since inception. As they say in business school, under promise and overdeliver. This hasn't been the case. There are ways to circumvent that though. Utilize the existing sats to create content with influencers in remote areas. Host an investor/analyst day and do a live demo in-front of the audience. Do a livestream of what IoT would look like in real life. There are so many ideas. Get the mass excited while you fine-tune production. Underpromise and overdeliver, and if you do overpromise don't when its a couple weeks out only to shoot yourself in the foot. All that said, I remain extremely bullish moreso than before.

$ASTS Since my original post blew up, a lot of people questioned (rightfully) where the info came from, how reliable the source is, and how the reported weight could be over 120k lbs when the satellite itself weighs under 10k. So here is everything I can safely share -The source is an oversize/overweight permit that the trucking company needs to obtain when transporting BB satellites to Cape -The permit is issued by the state DoT, typically one or two days before the actual shipment -Below is an actual permit that I am ~99% confident corresponds to the shipment of BB8 or BB9 -There were many questions on weight. The permit reports 'loaded weight', not satellite weight. Loaded weight means truck + trailer + freight -One permit = One truck = One satellite -Permit dates are the dates that the truck is allowed to pass through that section of the road This a useful leading, high-frequency signal for confirming when a shipment is about to happen. Jetco does not appear to move loads through this area very frequently. The permit I shared was the first one I had seen from them there in roughly two weeks. That does not make every permit automatically a BB shipment. It can still be something else. But if Jetco moves a BB through this route, it should show up in the permit data, which gives us a way to track shipments.
