Docs, MCP servers, and CLIs that AI agents can actually use. docsalot.dev Pronouns = Sir, His highness, lordship, the dude, El Duderino

You heard it here folks, Documentation IS the product.
At my first company, we had 20 full-time employees and zero documentation. We just assumed people would figure it out. They didn't. We had to pay the price. Documentation is product. Technical founders often think in features. "If we add this, it'll be better." But what would actually make the product better is usually a UX tweak or clearer documentation, not another new feature. I admit it's less interesting to build. But the ROI is undeniable.

New definition of A player talent from @imintomoms (Jonathan sturgeon) via Jason Cohens podcast. If you drop an A player talent into a cement factory, without any background. After some time they should outperform most people in the cement factory. Doesn't matter what problems are in front of them, they just find a solution. Could be an ice-cream truck, an IT shop and corner coffee store.

We actually have a shot at beating ChatGPT on Product Hunt today 👀 An upvote or comment could get DocsAlot there.
Still holding #7 on Product Hunt, now at 125 upvotes. If you haven't supported DocsAlot MCP yet, an upvote or comment would help us finish the day strong. producthunt.com/products/doc…

This is our 3rd launch in 3 months. Was not expecting this one to do this well. But we are in the top 10. Would really appreciate your support if you haven't yet gone and check it out. This release is one of my personal favourite, and I use it a lot. It essentially allows you to chat with what the readers are asking about your product. Which informs our core product direction. producthunt.com/products/doc…

I am never touching figma, canva, screen studio or any other video editing software again. Codex, just made all of these assets for us, by looking at our changelog, and isolating the feature.

Google Cloud's us-central1 region had an incident today. Because we built @SirDocsAlot for resilience, it did not turn into a meaningful outage for our customers. Traffic moved to another healthy instance. The only customer-facing impact we observed was a roughly five-second delay while requests were rerouted. Our application, data, and stateless rendering layers are separated, so compute can be replaced without putting customer content at risk. Even though, we do not guarantee an SLA on our Free or Team plans, we still aim to give those customers reliability close to an enterprise service. It probably helps that I spent a previous job wrangling Kubernetes clusters. Some of those scars eventually turn into better architecture, and lower cost for our users/customers.

Replying to @handotdev @mintlify
You automatically subscribing me to a credit pack and wanting me to opt out of it with less than a month of notice is not cool. Also then bragging about your MRR on x just rubs me the wrong way.

We have been saying this for a while. Benchmarks are becoming a fundraise vehicle, they are not serving its original purpose, i.e. expanding our existing knowledge. Would recommend the following, written by someone whose team outperformed, most existing benchmarks.

A goal with this launch is twofold. A) Conduct an independent study to determine which APIs are agent-first. B) Give our customers a platform, to attract more customers.
🚢 SHIPPING MONDAY v65 — A marketplace of APIs your coding agent can actually use Launching allthemapis.com, which is a marketplace of APIs independently validated by at-least one agent, i.e ours. We launched six detailed Agent Bench reports covering - setup, - task results, - errors, - tool calls, - time, cost, - evidence, and - caveats. The first findings were uneven: - @resend completed the task but needed repeated corrections, - @agentmail passed with a workaround, - @nylas failed verification, and - @sendgrid automated setup was blocked. For builders: compare APIs before your agent writes the integration. For API teams: submit your API, get benchmarked, and turn agent readiness into distribution. allthemapis.com/agent-bench?… Tagging: @Resend, @AgentMail, @Postmark, @Mailgun, @Nylas, @SendGrid, @Loops
