Let’s talk about Caedan Hotchkiss. Caedan stabbed a 66-year-old man to death in Springfield Township last night. Caedan then stole the victim’s Mercedes and decided to tool around in it—with a passenger. Caedan led authorities around in a pursuit while attempting to evade arrest—after a Flock camera pinged the suspect’s location over on the West Side of Cincinnati and in Colerain. Yeah—Flock, once again, helped catch a murderer. Caedan had a Juvenile record of Aggravated Arson and Aggravated Burglary—and a violent temper. One of Bloom’s Magistrates put him back on the street—and he capiased. Caedan got a gun and put five shots through a rival’s living room window. Not sure what charges Caedan faced for that—or if Bloom even allowed Caedan to be charged. Bloom and her Magistrate, Kendra Cameron, kept giving this kid a pass. They even let him go to Florida to stay—but he escaped that home as well. Prosecutors consistently requested that Caedan be sent to DYS because Caedan was a violent offender, though those requests were refused by the Juvenile Court. As usual, the Court completely ignored the evidence and the Detective. Caedan was placed in the Lighthouse youth diversion facility instead. Last year, Caedan “escaped” from Lighthouse, and in August of 2025, the CPD issued a Runaway Alert for Caedan. It appears as if Hamilton County Administrative Judge Kari Bloom’s circus of a Juvenile Court has, once again, gotten someone murdered for refusing to incarcerate a violent Juvenile offender. Caedan is an adult now, and Kari can’t protect him anymore. Just imagine if Caedan had served his time in the Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS)…Caedan may not have stabbed a 66-year-old man to death last night—then taken the victim’s car for a ride. Caedan refused to stop for pursuing Officers and could have tried to kill Officers had he possessed another firearm—thankfully, he did not. How many bodies does Judge Kari Bloom need on her because of her rules and policies before the people of Hamilton County vote Scary Kari out? Scary Kari “fired” Magistrate Kendra Cameron some time ago—because Kendra left work early and never came back.
