Sly News, stupid enough to think that "curing" world hunger means buying everybody a "big mac".

FFS this is exhausting. He doesn’t get cash, he gets stock and only if he 7x the value of the company, which will utterly change the lives of thousands of small investors. If he doesn’t, he gets F all. I’m sick of this envy politics.

Hunger isn't about money, but usually bad local politics. We already spend billions every year and more won't make a difference. As to Switzerland, that's their GDP not the price you could buy it at.

It would not cure world hunger. To suggest this is financial illiteracy. But of course, it's intentional to whip up a frenzy and an anti-Elon, anti-rich/success narrative.

How did world hunger become only Elon Musk’s problem? Meanwhile, he’s doing many other projects to help humanity. He needs the money to do more great work.

He gets 12% of stock options *IF* he hits some ridiculous goals and takes Tesla from 1.5bn market cap to 8.5bn over 10 years. If you think he's going to get that deal, then buy Tesla shares and 5x your own money. You people are beyond ridiculous

Sky News is now in the gutter. Where would the $1trn come from Sky News to buy out Elons stake? Someone would have to buy it from Elon Have you given this any thought other than your sensationalism? On the verge of blocking this shitty “News” organisation.

Or grow $TSLA 10x, create another $100b company. @grok how much value for the economy can Elon Musk create with his trillion dollar package.

But he won't will he? He'll fund hateful fascists like Rupert Lowe & Tommy Robinson S Yaxley-Lennon. He'll celebrate racial hatred. He started telling the truth about TRUMP and the EPSTEIN FILES, then stopped. Maybe by a miracle he'll change & be a unifier rather than a divider.

Only stock, no cash incl salary! Elon Musk's compensation from Tesla is an all-or-nothing performance-based package consisting entirely of stock options, with no salary or cash bonuses. He makes zero dollars unless Tesla achieves extraordinary value based solely on time-bound performance milestones. These are stock options that would allow Musk to BUY stock at today's price only if he meets the goals.

The 1 trillion is dependent upon tesla reaching a certain value, isn't it @grok? He does not have 1 trillion freely available.

Everybody is enticed by the $1Tn that @elonmusk is set to earn over the next few years, but few actually see the hard work he’s putting in, risking it all, for society and a better earth for human beings.

reminder - he tried to contribute 6 billion pounds for aid to Africa, but wanted an accounting of where it was spent - he was refused. Tells you all you need to know about 'international aid'

You do know that they’re not just giving him a trillion dollars, right? Tesla has to hit some pretty lofty goals in the next few years first, and even if he makes those goals he won’t get i$1,000,000,000,000 in cash or check.

Instead he has chosen to work on climate change, save the million or so lives lost every year in car accidents, provide a labor source that will transform the economy, create a company that will allow the blind to see and the lame to walk, another company that will make life multiplanetary, and provide worldwide internet and cell service. And provide even his worst critics with a platform for free speech. How much more can one man do? How many people has Sky News fed?

We could all do that with $1trn but just like Elon we don’t have it. You have to be a special kind of stupid to think he does.
