32 People Aboard Crashed Military Aircraft As Locals, Emergency Services Search Igbokoda
Locals and emergency services are searching the swampy riverine area of Igbokoda, Ondo State, where a military aircraft was reported to have crashed earlier today, after some parts of the aircraft were spotted in the area.
BREAKING NEWS:
Several persons are reportedly feared de@d after a helicopter cr@shed in Igbokoda, headquarters of Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State.
The incident, which occurred on Monday, October 5, 2026, threw the coastal community into panic, with residents scampering for safety.

Back to this. When a police officer killed a civilian the police did not hold press conference like this. They did not parade the police officer like this. We did not hear of the final judgements or how the case was being handled.
@PoliceNG please we deserve the same transparency and accountability on this Delta state police officer's murder case.
A 20-year-old phone seller, Olusola Olumide, has narrated how he crushed a police sergeant to death in Lagos.
While on stop and search duty along Olugbede Street in the Egbeda area of Lagos State, police officers signalled Olumide to stop.
He initially stopped but suddenly sped off as Sergeant Johnson Okediji approached the driver’s side. The officer was knocked down and dragged underneath the vehicle for several metres, despite repeated attempts by police officers and passers-by to make the driver stop.
The driver was eventually chased and arrested.
The officer sustained multiple fractures and head injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital and subsequently referred to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
