This year’s Dodger team will finish the season with their lowest run total in 9 years and the lowest SLG% in 11 years. People thinking they will suddenly turn it on in the postseason are delusional. This is not the same lineup from years past. This is not a good offensive team. The pitching will need to be perfect to win games. The biggest indicator is their record and runs per game against above .500 teams. They’ve been shut down every time they’ve faced decent pitching this year. It’s not going to change because the calendar says October. Don’t get your hopes up about this group.
