The thing about remote work is that on any given day it's clearly preferable to work from home, but if you do it every day, it sucks. Probably 2 or 3 days per week in office is ideal.
My strongest “vibes not evidence” belief is that remote work is a cancer that’s making (most) people miserable even though it seems better in the short term.
