DSA Left should run a second socialist candidate for president with the sole goal of getting on the debate stage.
Requirements will be very low to allow some two dozen hopeless corporate Democrats to boost their national profiles just like 2020.
Put someone on that stage to represent the platform with the requirement that they drop out before the first primary election and endorse DSA's chosen candidate (AOC) if they are polling lower.
If the benchmark is just a unique donor threshold, DSA can easily put multiple people on that stage and AOC will be there regardless.
There is no better moment or strategy to pull the entire 2028 election left (including AOC) than by introducing candidates who will loudly call out the centrists and blue dog Dems while advocating for the Workers Deserve More platform.
Same way Tulsi Gabbard only served as an attack dog to take down Kamala in 2020 or Marianne Williamson only existed to propose reparations and other far left policies, DSA can run a messaging candidate on the biggest stage they can reach.
That candidate can also make the attacks AOC cannot, playing a support role and forcing Newsom, Ossoff, or Harris into very uncomfortable confrontations that shape the news cycle.
I've proposed Oliver Larkin for this before, but it genuinely does not matter who, as long as you get someone good at message discipline and quick on their feet.
Choosing one of the DSA congress members for this means they lose their hard-fought house seat, unless they drop before their state's filing deadline to file for re-election.
Chris Rabb, for example, could run in the presidential primaries until PA's deadline of March 10th, 2028. If the debates take place in July 2027, any of DSAs electeds could use this strategy.

I think there's one person with the correct mixture of factors to make it on stage
