Got some general match advice here. Little bit of a long post.
I'm not even trying to troll but I want you guys to stop listening to the "just quarters and 2 match" advice. It will get you stops.
No argument there. But I feel your ceiling is much lower than if you fully commit, buy in, lose some games learning now, and you're all the better for it in two weeks.
LEARN THEM ALL. The world is labbing cover 2 match beaters as you read this. They aren't labbing the other checks.

@KoltFordyV is a Cover 2 guy and has been since launch. - -
@CrowleyyyA is a Cover 3 guy.
- I'm a heavy Quarters, 6/9 guy. -
@SpamminRPOs runs a little of everything and has his own ideas on the checks he likes for certain looks.
We all collab and share our checks for things so we all have multiple solves for everything while keeping everything looking the same presnap.
Had a game earlier today where my primary call wasn't getting me coverage sacks and my pass rush wasn't really winning me the game either (he was grinding to find the open guys and I could feel he was guessing, but so was I). So I waited for a leverage spot.
Went to Crowley's base D for Clamp Stack on a key money down and he threw a drag that had there for him been in certain spots all game straight into a robber hook he had no clue was there hammering down underneath instead of sitting back waiting on 2 vertical. He was reading the same backer on the other side of the field that had been responsible for that drag and thought it was open. He never saw the safety rotate down until it was too late.
And if I let ego say "Quarters is what you do it's supposed to work" I likely lose.
Play possum sometimes.
