So, I’m in a conundrum. I’ve got a 2012 Jeep Liberty now. Sadly, I’m going to have to take the dash out soon to replace the HVAC box before winter, but I need a third vehicle so I can have the Jeep down long enough to fix it. We’ll need a third vehicle as a backup anyway. I have $2K set aside for it, so what do I do? Rebuild the Sport Trac engine, which will cost $1,500–$2,000? Keep in mind, it also has bearings in the rear end that need to be replaced. Or do I find another vehicle for around $2K and take my chances on that?

WHAT IS THE POINT… of a 5 year protection plan on a TV if you can’t get the fucker replaced when it dies a year later? I bought it online from Walmart, picked it up in store, and I’ve had it for just over a year. The backlight went out. Not a huge deal,.... that’s exactly what the protection plan is for, right? So I go through all the prompts on the warranty site. It asks for a receipt. I upload a screenshot of my online order. NOT VALID. They want a receipt from the store. Fine. I go to Walmart with my online order number, only to be told they don’t provide store receipts for online orders and to do the exact thing I JUST FUCKING DID. I tell them that, and they basically shrug and say it’s out of their hands and that it should work. So let me get this straight... WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU OFFERING PROTECTION PLANS FOR ONLINE ORDERS IF YOU DON’T PROVIDE THE RECEIPT THE WARRANTY COMPANY REQUIRES, AND THE WARRANTY COMPANY WON’T ACCEPT THE ONLINE ORDER CONFIRMATION?
