Dear artists, Curators and collectors are trying to find your work, so PLEASE do yourself a favor and do the following: 1. Have a link in your bio to your available work! No one wants to have to look for hours through your feed to see if they can find a link to a piece or go through every platform searching for you. 2. If you have a Linktree: great — but please update it. Again, having tons of expired or broken links is very confusing and frustrating. Update it and keep it current. 3. Have a webpage. You can do something very simple with AI or with any web-building tool. Something that says who you are, what your practice is like, shares your overall work, and shows your available work. Again, make it easy for a collector to fall in love with you. 4. In your X bio, have something that makes sense (or points to something that makes sense, like a website). If they’re looking at your X profile, chances are something caught their attention or someone recommended you. Let them know who you are as an artist. 5. Please put prices on your pieces! It is very hard for a collector to offer to buy without knowing your price point. They don’t want to go too high, but they definitely don’t want to go too low and offend you. Take the guessing out of it. State your price (and adjust accordingly). If you don’t want to do this on a platform, at least do it on your webpage so collectors can understand your general price range. 6. Have some sort of pricing strategy that you can stand behind. Don’t make it seem like you have completely different pricing depending on which platform the collector finds you on. Do all your pieces have to have the same price? Absolutely not. Is it based on how much time you put into the piece? No. It is based on what you believe the piece is worth. Make it make sense to you, and it will make sense to a collector — but be consistent. 7. And lastly, be active. I don’t mean you have to post 10 times a day or that you even have to have new work. But if a collector sees that you’ve had no activity for over six months, they might assume things have changed and you’re no longer interested in selling. Most collectors want to buy beautiful work, but they also want to support an artist’s journey. If you’re no longer interested in the journey, they might not be either. Rooting for all of you artists out there! The bear market is tough but there are many people looking for your work! 🫂❤️

Yesterday I started to take a tour of these last years, and I only have words of gratitude, honestly I couldn’t be happier. Since 2021 I have been on a path of learning and self-discovery. What began as a reinterpretation of classical art, today is a search to discover that human essence that we inhabit, using available technologies and combining them to use them as a vehicle to get to know each other a little more. To know those places that we don’t usually enter, those that are in our minds. What in 2023 was a burnout, from January 1, 2024 was transformed into an opportunity for which I feel grateful: dedicating myself 24/7 to art went from being a dream to a reality. And it’s something that fills me with pride. With the passage of time and the series I discovered a fascination with data, neuroscience, the mind, AI as an element, biometric devices, affective computing and quantum processing, which allows me to create with combinations of technologies that although they were always individual curiosities, today create a whole, a passion. Something that was and is possible thanks to each person who supports this process. The road is long and there is still a long way to go, and I feel happy to be able to walk it with incredible people by my side. Thank you to each of you for making it possible! ✨

Weeks of emails with Richard Siken turned into a 24-page conversation in Tough Poets Review (Fall/Winter 2026). In the middle of it I painted him twice. Both portraits are in the issue. I created Ed B in 2020, inspired by The Boondocks and Robot Chicken. I wanted dark humor, satire, and REAL conversations. The story was inspired by Rachel Dolezal and her racial identity controversy. I thought, WHAT IF someone fell in love with somebody who lied about being Black?! LMAO. BUT HOW THE HELL WAS I GONNA FUND THIS?! I created the Run Ed collection. Nearly all those funds went toward making this short. Seth Green discovered my puppet, we got on a call, and he agreed to play Billy! NOW THE PRODUCTION! MASSIVE shout-out to Studio Linguini and our entire team! We spent years bringing this seven-minute film to life. Models and miniature sets had to be built. Puppets were physically moved and photographed FRAME BY FRAME. We combined stop-motion with 2D animation, music, sound, and editing. SEVEN MINUTES OF FILM. YEARS OF WORK. AN INSANE AMOUNT OF LABOR. What began as a puppet in 2020 became a film made in 2022–2023, followed by years of figuring out how to release the damn thing. I was torn about saying something because I did not want my post to detract in any way from the important stories we are hearing, but as a past supporter of the gallery, I feel I should. I supported the gallery with a donation in 2024. I never attended the gallery but understood that it supported emerging artists, gave them a place to gather and connect, and did not charge them for it. Those who know me know that I support emerging artists in any way I can, so this seemed like a good place to contribute. A year later, in 2025, I donated once again. During NFT NYC 2025 I arranged with the gallery to have a solo show for an amazing artist whose work I truly admire. I covered those costs as well, always as a sponsorship and without any ties between the artist and the gallery (or between myself and the artist). The experience I had at the gallery was not good. Nothing in particular that I can point to, just abrasive and unprofessional (towards me but also towards women AND men artists) and not the way I like to work or even the way I deal with friendships or acquaintances. I decided back then to cut ties and step back (even before the week was over). I haven’t attended any other events there since then. I can say that I do not condone any type of action that puts women in danger or even in uncomfortable positions. I am from a different generation. We had to deal with this shit all the time and just suck it up and be strong. I am very, very glad that women today don’t have to. And I am happy to see men standing up against this as well. The way it should be. For a safer space for all of us.

Today we announced our first acquisition to begin the @fndzionaversano initiative of $50,000 grants that I raised from my recent project, Moments of the Unknown, to support more artists by collecting their art! Our first mission is to start in our backyard here in the US. The plan over the next 10 months is to connect with and curate a group of artists living, working, born in, or art made in the 50 states! We will be supporting 50 artists with up to $1,000 each. Collecting an artwork to represent each state, by the end of phase 1 we would have supported an artist from every state. If you are not in the US and wanted to be involved in this initiative, we will do our best to raise $200,000 for phase 2. Which will allow us to then collect art from 200 artists, to discover an artist and collect up to $1,000 from every country to create the “Global Gallery” I have been dreaming up in my MOTU manifesto since the projects launch in 2024. We aim to support all artists, from the OGs to the emerging and established artists. Our goal is to tell a story through the art we collect. Whether it is personal, or a collective. We aim to find and explore the meaning and vision behind each work. For @annespalter work, the significance represents my journey through tarot. Connecting with my dear friend and collector @ordinals_guy who we met through my tarot project, Smoke and Mirrors, and quickly became the largest collector. We became very close and believes in my practice and vision where he became a co-founder of the organization along with my beloved @ViktoriaNagibi1, who has recently helped me paint all the MOTU paintings and posted all our MOTU podcast on Spotify and soon to be Apple and YouTube. Why the world card? Well, we aim to make an impact through art in the world and put together this global gallery. Hopefully, year after year, and sustain the fondazioneaversano.eth to keep uplifting artists for 100+ years! This first phase is purely deploying funds to artists as inaugural project. Other projects around the world will take place in time; such as working with medicine, specifically cancer. And working with farmers around all 50 states, to understand where our food security and system comes from. As we travel the 50 states to make our personal artwork with cancer and farmers, and collect art from said artists from each state. We aim to meet with you and work in your community as best we can. We have 49 states to go and aim to collect 4 more artists by Sept 23rd. We will hold frequent open calls, with special guest curators throughout the year so we can expand our minds and taste. Submit your art, and submit it often because sometimes it takes a few times or the right curator for the art to connect. This isn’t about what art is the best, it is about what art we genuinely connect with at the time.
