The current British Art Fair has a DIGITALISM segment with 77 artists/exhibitors.
I might be wrong, but I don't see a single artist from the blockchain art community and I would bet there is not a single tokenized artwork being sold.

The digital artists from this decade that are still talked about in 50 years time may or may not have created tokenized art. Tokenizing art does not make the art better.
Tokenization has created a digital art movement but tokenized art does not in any way represent the totality of digital art created today.
Many people here assume the greatest digital artists alive are touching the blockchain in some way, but of course there are large incentives for us to cling to this belief without really investigating if this might be true.
One thing I have learned from talking to digital artists and gallerists outside our bubble is the hyper-financialization of block-chain art is not viewed as anything to do with art. It is also still viewed as a huge turn off to many talented and pioneering digital artists.

The universe is powerful and has become part of my journey as an artist. 'Starlight' is my most personal work to date, created during my @artblocks_io x @opensea artist residency in Marfa, Texas. This collection translates the Marfa Lights, a century-old desert phenomenon, into 300 fully generative, hash-seeded spirits of light.
The code carries the research itself. From the Apache legend of falling stars as ancestors returning home, a scientist's decade of field study, and a blue-light-emitting lightning bug that became the movement logic of the piece.
Each Starlight carries a moment in an infinite spiritual frequency. It bridges culture, technology, and traditional and new media practice. I am grateful to all the people, peers, supporters, and builders who are part of my world. This collection is my genesis creation, and I am proud to be sharing a project I am deeply passionate about.

For this initiative, we aim to spend a budget of 15k on NFTs / Physical Art & Merch on as many artists as we can to support the people who show up and make up this creative community π
