The state of the showdown ladder rn is so bad (both for the format and the bot situation). Prime showdown ladder is gone😭

Made Top 16 at Louisville regionals with Neo Big 6! The team felt amazing in prep and awesome during the run. I think I could’ve played my top 16 better but I’m overall super happy with the run! Whims is THE GOAT and I’m looking forward to Vegas!

These new VGC bots are very strong, especially the Bo1 one. That being said, I don't think they're better than top players (at least for now). Even if they become better, they'll still just be a useful testing tool. Maybe something will change, but I don't expect a revolution

This has been kind of a long project, but I built mikumiku37, a self-play RL VGC Reg M-C bot that reached #1 on the Showdown ladder. For now, you can play mikumiku37 by challenging it on Showdown. smogon.com/forums/threads/mi…
