In 2000, cultural heritage experts from Japan participated in an #IVLP exchange to explore ways to work with U.S. counterparts to locate missing Okinawan cultural heritage properties. Building Bridges, Building Homes 🏠💪 Community leaders from Georgia recently experienced American volunteerism up close during an #IVLP exchange. They met with nonprofit and local government leaders across the U.S., including Habitat for Humanity Buffalo, where they helped install insulation for local families’ homes and Orlando Union Rescue Mission, where they served hot meals for the guests.

The U.S. is working together with international partners to ensure artificial intelligence (AI) technologies are developed responsibly and used as a force for good. AUKUS is a partnership between Australia 🇦🇺, the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, and the United States 🇺🇸 that deepens scientific, technological, and industrial cooperation, especially on maritime innovation. Last week, 6 professionals from Australia and the UK began an #IVLP examining developments in critical emerging technologies, meeting with U.S. universities and research centers, and exploring potential areas to expand collaboration in support of AUKUS Pillar II.
