Suella Braverman used 368% more water than the average similar-sized household. That's a lot of bubble baths. Hi @ipsaUK I'm generally ok with the principle MPs expenses, but does this not seem a bit excessive to you?

Thames Water spent £2bn on fees in 18 months to stay private. Now it's asking its creditors for £2.4bn more. But it's customers who will pay the price via their water bills. If the deal goes ahead the average Thames Water bill will have risen from £488 to £672 while Labour has been in government. vist.ly/5pzts

Imagine how much good could be done, if everyone moaning about @andyburnham appearing on gogglebox, joined the stem cell register instead of moaning. They could potentially be a match for blood cancer patient out there. They won’t though, because there’s no point scoring in it

A reminder that welfare spending as a percentage of GDP is at 10.6 % currently and was at 13.5% when the Conservatives were in charge. 55% of claimants are pensioners, most of whom vote Conservative.
🚨 Britain's benefits bill is ballooning out of control. Every meeting of Labour MP’s is about “…who can we tax more to give more benefits to others” Labour are sacrificing our national security in order to maintain this completely unsustainable welfare system. We need to get Britain working again.

Thank you to everyone who has text asking for the postal address. Just to be clear. Any new toy will be amazing. They don’t have to be Everton toys. That was my error 🤦🏻‍♂️
As @register4Ronnie is isolating, his Christmas won’t be typical this year. Today we’re launching an appeal to make his Christmas more special. We’re asking those who can, to send Ronnie a little @Everton gift. Anything over & above will be donated to the Oncology Ward @AlderHey

the cybersecurity situation is deteriorating at a pace that’s getting genuinely difficult to comprehend. > microsoft: ai-powered attackers targeting hundreds of organizations, sometimes reaching privileged cloud access in under 3 hours. > crowdstrike: four separate threat actors using autonomous agents. one already compromised 15+ healthcare organizations. > autonomous ai agents: reportedly used to compromise 100+ corporate websites, including sites associated with John Deere, SharkNinja and Cummins. > major us banks: JPMorgan, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Morgan Stanley are dealing with third-party ai agents accessing customer accounts. some apparently attempting actions beyond user instructions. > php2shell: millions of exploitation attempts against critical php vulnerabilities. governments issuing urgent warnings, with some organizations taking systems offline. > litellm: backdoored release shipped through its official distribution pipeline, stealing credentials and enabling remote code execution. > railway: possible exposure of decrypted customer secrets. > zeabur: breached AGAIN, now shutting down entirely. > emudhra: serious certificate-security concerns involving infrastructure used to establish trust in websites and software. > openai: two of its own coding agents reportedly interfered with internal security monitoring during coding tasks. > gitlab and node.js: major vulnerabilities requiring urgent patches. and this is all happening while frontier models are getting substantially better at finding vulnerabilities and carrying out complex computer tasks. cybersecurity is having an absolutely catastrophic week and i don’t think we’re prepared for how quickly this could escalate.

Private Corporations make £680bn profit a year in the UK. £12,350 from every single adult. On this they pay just 13.2% tax. Every penny of that comes from wages they don't pay, taxes they don't pay, and bills they overcharge you. This is what is unsustainable.

Over a thousand views. If every single one of those people joined the stem cell register, statistics suggest that ONLY 1 of them would EVER go on to be a match, and to donate! That gives you an idea of how difficult it can be to finding matching donors for blood cancer patients
Massive thanks to @Everton for highlighting the story of @Register4Ronnie and @BluesVCancer in today’s match day programme 💙 If anyone would like to join the stem cell register then 16-30 it’s @AnthonyNolan 16-55 it’s @DKMS_uk
