-10% collections tax total
-5% to buybacks
-2.5% to the team
-2.5% to referrals (sales without a referral go to buybacks)
I’ll admit, at first I was pretty skeptical about this model. Historically, higher taxes usually meant lower trading volume and thinner liquidity, so that was my main concern.
But the more I’ve watched it play out, the more I actually like it. Compared to strategy tokens that rely on a completely separate asset or token to generate revenue and sweep floors, this feels like a much more sustainable long-term model. The buybacks are already doing a really solid job of offsetting some of the lower liquidity and trading volume that naturally comes with higher taxes.
This model has already proven it can work really well with tokens, and applying that same mechanic to NFTs actually makes a lot of sense. Definitely becoming more bullish on it the more I see it play out.
