I’m excited to announce the launch of a new newsletter from @TokenRelations and @Forgd_ focused on the state of the digital asset market, token performance and more. Our first edition is live and focuses on some interesting August trends👇 We tracked 6 primary token launches in August, compared with a much quieter market earlier this year. Binance Alpha emerged as the most common entry point, while ALIGN took a notably broader approach across major exchanges. At the same time, activity around Robinhood Chain accelerated sharply, with memecoins bringing more traders and capital back into the market and a smaller group experimenting with tokenized stocks and treasury-backed structures. The bigger takeaway is the token market is showing early signs of life again, but we’re not ready to call it a full reopening. That’s exactly why we want this newsletter to track over time the data behind where the market is actually moving, rather than relying on sentiment alone. Excited to build this with the Forgd team. Check out the full report and subscribe for free below:

Today we’re launching a new research newsletter on @TokenRelations with @Forgd_ covering the state of the digital asset market. Following last month’s launch of Forgd’s Market Maker Leaderboard on Token Relations, we’re expanding the partnership into a broader look at market activity, token launches, listings, liquidity and emerging areas of investor and retail participation. The first edition covers August, when the market showed some early signs of reactivation: • Six primary token launches came to market, spanning infrastructure, AI, FX, ZK, DeFi and onchain credit. • Binance Alpha was the most common launch venue, while ALIGN entered the market with a much broader exchange footprint. • Five of the six launches traded more than 50% below their first-day highs by September 4, showing that increased issuance does not yet mean durable demand. • Activity around Robinhood Chain accelerated into September, with memecoins driving renewed speculative activity alongside experiments with tokenized stocks and treasury-backed structures. For now, we view this as an incremental reopening of the market rather than a full return of the altcoin issuance cycle. We’ll be tracking these signals each month to understand where capital, liquidity and market activity are actually moving. Subscribe for free and read the first edition below: stratamedia.co/token-relatio…

What are the major safety concerns surrounding vaults and how are they being addressed? @GilgameshODs says it currently comes down to the technical layer, access to funds, and legal claims if something goes wrong. "The technical side is handled with immutable, battle-tested vaults, and ERC-4626 standards are becoming the default. On access, the work is in key management. Before we deploy capital ourselves, we check if no single entity or signer holds admin key access, and there is far more scrutiny of this than there used to be. The legal claim hasnʼt been solved yet. Institutions want a counterparty licensed somewhere rather than an empty SPV or an LLC with no balance sheet to claim against. The safety failures have been in the underlying, or where the funds were deployed. The more expensive assumption is that vaults are risk-free. They are not, and they carry different risks from each other. A vault can give you something loosely like a senior tranche on an asset compared with holding it outright. Some are blue chip and easy to exit, others pay more and are harder to get out of during stressed markets." Get more of his insights in the @StrataMedia_ vaults survey 👇

As a former reporter, I'm with Kalshi on this one. Journalists should responsibly pick what to include, but misconstruing it isn't cool. This is one of the reason our team loves doing @StrataMedia_ x @TokenRelations surveys. Our participant responses are verbatim, which allows readers to form their own opinion based off what experts say!
The New York Times published a story today about prediction markets. They asked us a series of questions, then ignored almost every answer that didn’t align with the narrative that was being pushed. So we’re sharing our answers below. news.kalshi.com/p/kalshi-nyt…

Wow this video is a YOUNG JACQ throwback But @avax nailed it on the head with this: standing out amid so much noise was - and continues to be - a problem that we're solving for. Come hear me talk about this and more at Avalanche Summit next month 🤝
Crypto has a noise problem. At Summit, @jacqmelinek of @StrataMedia_ will show how blockchain-focused reporting is cutting through it: high-signal reporting, podcasts and ecosystem intelligence built to surface what matters. Tickets: avalanchesummit.com Jacquelyn is Founder & CEO of StrataMedia, the media and intelligence company behind Token Relations, Talking Tokens, Crypto in America and other crypto-focused programming. Before founding the company, she led crypto coverage at TechCrunch and reported on crypto, DeFi, venture funding and financial markets for Blockworks, Bloomberg News and S&P Global Platts. Now she’s bringing that reporting background to a different challenge: helping blockchain ecosystems organize better information, understand what’s actually happening across their communities, and communicate it clearly. Come to Summit to hear how better data, sharp reporting and higher-signal information can help strong ecosystems stand out from the noise. Sept 16–17 | Chelsea Industrial, NYC

We have updated the Token Relations section of our website. You can check it out here: stratamedia.co/token-relatio… For more into what changed, see a note from our founder. 👇
ICYMI: We revamped our website! Over the past few months, we've been working on something much bigger than a redesign. We saw the need for one place that brings together everything we do across investor relations, research, media, and institutional communications. Here's what's new: - @TokenRelations now has its own section within @StrataMedia_'s website, making it easier to explore investor updates, institutional reports, research, and livestreams by project. - Token Relations clients like @Solana, @Ripple, @Hedera & more have their own dedicated pages, so you can navigate their latest updates, livestreams and reports, all in one place. - Our industry research is organized into hubs covering Stablecoins, Tokenization, DeFi, Markets, Analyst Insights, and more. - @_TalkingTokens and @TheMarketRunup are now integrated into the site alongside their respective newsletters, so you can access our podcasts, articles and written content in one go. Whether you're looking for institutional research, executive interviews, investor communications, or market analysis, it's all now under one roof. This is just the beginning, and we have a lot more in the works. Shared some screen grabs, but take a look for yourself and let us know what you think! :) stratamedia.co/

🚨 We just launched a brand new product at @StrataMedia_ : StrataMedia Surveys It's one thing to read announcements, product updates, and news articles about emerging technologies. But it's another to hear curated insights from the experts actually building them. What we decided to do was pick trending topics that institutions care about and find out what's really going on by asking the founders, developers, investors, and thought leaders that run the space. For our first edition, we wanted to take another look at agentic payments and find out where the space is now, who is actually adopting the tech, and what bottlenecks stand in the way of adoption. We picked 5 experts from 5 companies (@Anchorage, @circle, @rumblevideo, @Alchemy, and @0xMiden) and asked them the same set of questions: - How would you define the state of agentic commerce and its adoption today? - What do AI agents excel at compared to people? When do they make no sense to use? - Who do you think will start adopting agentic payments first: consumers or institutions? In what capacity? - Are you trusting agents to transact? If so, what are these agents typically buying? - Assume you’re giving an agent a credit card today. What tasks would you have it do? What limit would you set on the card? - Most agentic commerce is currently micropayments. Do you see this changing? If not, how much will the market for micropayments grow? - What are the main hurdles for this tech? What needs to happen for agentic payments to go mainstream? - What strategies are companies employing to increase security and trust in AI agents? Who is building these security rails? Read the report below or on our website to hear what they had to say 👇 stratamedia.co/
