I am awarding the Officiating Crew with the MVP for the Fever vs. Aces series!
A truly record-breaking performance for a 3-game series by the officials, and worthy of a deeper look:
*Largest FT differential in WNBA history (+31 for the Aces), despite the Fever dominating the paint.
*Largest foul disparity in WNBA history (+20 called against Fever)
*5+ fouls on Caitlin Clark every game (fouled out once)
*Ignored multiple flagrant fouls committed by the Aces and gave the foul to the Fever instead (very clever!)
*Didn't call or review anything at all when CC was elbowed in the face and bloodied.
*The Aces were in the bonus in the 3rd and 4th quarter of Game 3 before a single foul was called against them
We need to give credit where credit is due - and these officials just busted their asses off getting the Aces the win here!
They put in the work, and they deserve the MVP!

I specifically avoided the Mazda CX-5 trim level that included a sunroof, because that would have reduced headroom by a few inches, risking me bonking my head if I hit a bump in the road.
Wife's Subaru Crosstrek has one, which she just uses to crack/vent when parked in the sun.
If you have a car with a sunroof, do you actually ever use it? Or is it one of those things that increase cost without increasing value?

People keep talking about Y2K as a fizzle, but as someone who did a lot of Y2K work in the 1990s, the reason it fizzled is that many people put an enormous amount of work into updating old systems
"the harms we had lots of meetings and media attention about didn't occur" is not evidence that the meetings were a waste!
understanding this requires a subtle theory of how society works. it's why you can't call net neutrality pointless. it's why MAGA is so destructive.
