The Solana Summit Serbia aftermovie opens with a line about the Balkans:
"People have been marching through it for centuries, always on their way to somewhere else."
This August, more than 80 speakers came from all over the Balkans, and from as far as America, the UK, Germany and India. 1,500 people filled two packed stages at Sava Centar, 13 startups pitched live on Demo Day, and 20+ side events took over Belgrade.
To every speaker, sponsor and guest, and to the whole @Solana community, thank you for taking this so far past our expectations, it means a lot to us, and we plan to keep building from here for many years to come.

Second quick update from HiveBits.
On Monday we met Miloš from Krajina Agriculture Cluster. They work between farmers and the government. He told us part of the money for containers and beehives can come back through state support.
Yesterday we took our builder to our existing container. He measured it, and now we wait for his offer for the new ones.

Yesterday I defended my Master’s thesis in Computational Finance: “Order Book Optimizations.”
The thesis focuses on the performance of different order book memory layouts and implementation choices under workloads such as insertions, cancellations, market sweeps, and clustered activity around the top of the book.
Thesis explores topics including AoS vs SoA vs hybrid layouts, cache locality, alignment, prefetching, fixed-tick structures, and latency benchmarking, with the goal of understanding where real performance gains actually come from beyond asymptotic complexity.
