Today, we mark three years since the horrific Hamas attacks on Israel — a day that changed the Jewish people forever. On October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists slaughtered more than 1,200 people, took 250 hostages, raped women and girls, and committed unspeakable acts of brutality against innocent men, women, and children. Families were torn apart, lives were destroyed, and a sense of safety that so many Jews had taken for granted was shattered in an instant. Three years later, that pain has not gone away. If anything, it has been compounded by the alarming rise of antisemitism around the world — including here in New York. Jews should never have to hide who they are, watch what they say, or wonder whether they are safe simply because they are Jewish. As a Jew, October 7 is deeply personal to me and my family. I will never forget what happened that day, and I will never accept the attempts to minimize, excuse, or rewrite the horrors committed by Hamas. As County Executive, I have made keeping our community safe a top priority. As your next Governor, I will fight to ensure that every Jewish New Yorker can walk the streets proudly and openly as a Jew, without fear. We will remember the victims. We will stand with the hostages and their families. We will stand with Israel. And we will never allow the hatred that led to October 7 to become normalized here in New York.

Today is of course a tough day, 3 years since the horrific attack in Israel that took close to 2000 innocent lives and took over 200 people hostage, many of whom were children. Let's be kinder, yet also less tolerant of those who actively seek to harm us. Am Israel Chai!

Dem Socialists were the heartbeat of that celebration of barbarity. Dem Socialists are enemies of the United States and should be treated like it.
10/7 shook every Jew I know to the core. The brutality. The cruelty. The disregard for human life. We thought “Never Again.” We were wrong. But what may have changed me the most was 10/8, the horror of watching people celebrate what had just been done to our people

Three years ago. An eternity of grief, despair, trauma. A horizon of hope, renewed faith in God, in each other. May Kol Israel be Blessed with Divine Protection
Three years since October 7, 2023. We remember the lives stolen by Palestinian Hamas. We honor the heroes. We carry the scars. And still, we stand. We rebuild. We live. We choose hope. Am Yisrael Chai. 🇮🇱 #UNFORGO7TEN

No really, things are going great in Paris:
🇫🇷 A student rioter at Honoré-de-Balzac high school near Paris has called for the police to be killed “in the name of Allah.” “There are only ten of them. In the name of Allah, we can kill them all!” he shouted. Other young rioters happily cheered.

Shame on ANY individual or organization that promotes the NAZA lies!!
Worse than Hamas propaganda. I have now seen the documentary NAZA in its entirety, and it is worse than I imagined. Over three years, I’ve tried not to be surprised by ignorance, disinformation, and distortions relating to war, but this is at the top for many reasons. I will write a detailed analysis soon, but one of the worst, a massive claim displayed in the middle of the film, in bright yellow against a black screen: “Israel has killed more than 73,000 Palestinians in Gaza.” Not even Hamas says this. Meaning not even Hamas claims Israel has killed every Palestinian that has died in Gaza since October 7th. Hamas has publicly killed Palestinians to maintain power in the Gaza. There have been battles between Hamas and anti-Hamas clans. Up to 20% of the 12,000 Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad rockets fired at Israel fell inside Gaza. Recent Hamas reporting shows natural deaths on their list. To say every person that died in Gaza was killed by Israel is a vulgar lie. There are a lot of other lies, lies by omission, and lies of ignorance in NAZA, but this claim is unique and follows the lies, damned lies, and statistics for accusations that go against the actual number put out by Hamas or reality. More to follow on Naza.

There are many such women like her who completed missions that would make the most hardened of men pause.
In the dark hours of a cold night in occupied France, a woman stripped off her clothes and squeezed her slender body through the tight iron bars of a Gestapo prison cell. Holding her dress in her teeth, she fell silently to the street below and melted into the shadows of the night. Her name was Marie-Madeleine Fourcade, and she was one of the most remarkable leaders of the French Resistance during World War II. Marie-Madeleine grew up in a world of wealth and beauty. Long before the war broke out, she lived an exciting life filled with fast cars, flying airplanes, and playing classical music on the piano. Most people expected her to spend her life enjoying quiet luxury. However, when German forces invaded and occupied France, everything changed. She felt a deep call to protect her homeland, so she joined a small secret network dedicated to gathering intelligence against the enemy. When the leader of her group was arrested in 1941, he handed total control of the operation over to Marie-Madeleine. She was only thirty-one years old and a mother of two young children, but she stepped into the role without hesitation. Under her guidance, that small group grew into the largest secret intelligence network in France, known as Alliance. Over three thousand brave men and women joined her network, including ordinary doctors, shopkeepers, priests, and mothers. Nearly twenty percent of her agents were women, which was almost unheard of for military intelligence at that time. The network used animal code names to protect their real identities. The Gestapo began calling them Noah's Ark because of this practice. Marie-Madeleine chose the code name Hedgehog for herself. She picked it because a hedgehog is small and quiet, yet its sharp quills mean that even a fierce predator will hesitate to touch it. Her greatest advantage was that the Nazis could never believe a young, fashionable woman was running the entire operation. They spent years looking for a male general or a hardened officer, completely unaware that the mastermind was standing right in front of them in disguise. Leading this underground network came with painful personal sacrifices. The enemy worked tirelessly to destroy her group. Many of her close friends and fellow agents were captured, tortured, or killed. To protect her own children from harm, she had to send them away to safe locations. She could not even hug them goodbye for fear of revealing their whereabouts. Instead, she stood quietly behind a curtain and watched her children walk down the street, unable to let them know she was standing just a few steps away. Even after being captured twice by enemy forces, Marie-Madeleine managed to escape both times and rebuild her broken organization from scratch. Her agents provided vital intelligence that helped Allied forces plan successful operations, including key details about enemy positions along the beaches of Normandy. When the war finally ended, her extraordinary efforts were largely overlooked by history books. The official lists of honored resistance leaders favored men, leaving her off the top lists of recognized national heroes. Yet she never gave up or sought personal glory. She spent the rest of her days helping surviving agents, supporting families of fallen fighters, and ensuring that the bravery of her team was recorded forever. Near the end of her life, when reflecting on her purpose, she looked back on her journey and quietly said, "God gave me the strength to stand in the dark so that others could walk in the light."

I am a #Zionist Which means, I believe in the right of Jewish self determination within our ancestral homeland, Israel. Thats it. Nothing more “sinister” or “nefarious” about it. Anti-Zionism IS anti Jewish racism.

Explicating: Those who slander Israel with genocide do so to sustain a 78-year Arab effort to eliminate the Jewish state—and to justify its genocidal implications.

Turns out there’s an incredibly sneaky setting buried under Google location services called “Wi-Fi scanning” so even if you have Wi-Fi set to “off” but location > Wi-Fi scanning is toggled “on” (which it seems to be by default) it will turn your Wi-Fi on. Damn Google.

for a long time i said that antisemitism, particularly on the american left, was not as bad as people claimed. i'd like to just state that i was totally wrong. i still don't understand it, really. or know what to do about it. but it is so fucked.
