what my husband cooks when I'm on periods. he's good too. my sister reminded me yesterday that no one is perfect. every has flaws. even i have flaws. so it's ok if he left me once. just make him understand and make sure he doesn't repeat mistakes again. it's easier said than done but i shall strive my best to make us better.

yesterday i walked to a town nearby for an hour covering a distance of 4kms. did i get peace? yes. did i get energetic? yes. did i get free from the toxic negativity around me? yes. what's life without movement? walk and walk to get rid of all the mental problems.

and i got humbled by the enormous mountains 🙏

it's not as easy as the pictures posted. Hemkund took the living breath out of me. with it situated at an altitude of 14k feet, we trekked for over 6hrs to reach to the peak. during the last 2hrs, my oxygen levels dropped to 74 when it's supposed to be above 90. Trek leader gave me Diamox when I complained about increasing headache and dizziness. I barely could walk. lost all my hopes on seeing it since the gurudwara closes by 12:30pm and the turn around time was 1pm. I exactly reached at 12:51pm. Tears wouldn't stop rolling and my heart was full. I forgot all the difficulty once I saw what I saw. It's no less than Heaven. That's when I got humbled. that's when i realised it's not me that's conquering the mountains but it's the god who's pushing me and pulling me to bring me to his abode. forever greatful to the humongous mountains. forever greatful to the almighty 🙏🙏🙏

I got the darshan of the magnificent Nanda Devi from the Karchi base camp 🙏🙏 got to know that it's the highest mountain peak in India and unconquered. (since Mt.Everest comes under Nepal-Tibet border) the climbing expeditions to it are banned now due to lingering radiation concerns after the govt planted a nuclear surveillance device to monitor China and lost it in a blizzard 🥶

it's important that you block people from adding you to the whatsapp groups right after marriage. my father-in-law added me to some 20 whatsapp groups that are unwanted. he didn't even ask me if i want to be added. i had to later exit from all those groups that are trash, to preserve my sanity (cuz he spams a lot) and had to search for this setting online.

I have 20 items to complete this weekend. small and big. Monday is a holiday for us. so it's a long weekend. I'm using this app called Trello to note down all action items and it provides a kanban board with 3 lanes. To Do, In Progess and Done. I'm following pomodoro to complete all of them in slices of time. I work for 25mins. take a 5min break. I repeat this for 3 times and on the 4th time, I take 15mins of break. let's see if i can complete all in 3 days.

why do you decorate? why do you put all the effort in worshipping an idol? only for it to be cleaned up again. i understood a thing. this month of poojas has taught me an important lesson. the life on the Earth is not constant. the things that happen in our lives are not constant. we're in an ever changing environment. change is the only constant. everytime you decorate, pull in all the efforts, perform 5 hrs of pooja, prepare prasad, only for the flowers to wither and the pooja prasad to be eaten by us. this taught me not to own the process. not to feel proud of the work that i do. not to get attached to it. cuz i know I've to see it all come to an end the next day. but i do it again the next day. with the same devotion and dedication, but with a detachment at heart. the results of your efforts are not yours. get detached from the results, from the process if possible, but do it still. that's the essence of Bhagavad Gita I guess 🙏
