It pains me to write this, but the truth is that the world doesn't know that the war in Gaza hasn't stopped for a single moment… it's just changed its form.
The relentless bombing continues, victims are still being transported in silence, their deaths not reported in your news broadcasts, rubble litters the neighborhoods, and more than a million people are crammed into tattered canvas tents.
As for us, we've been living in constant fear for over three years.
We've been displaced more than nine times, moving from one unsafe place to another, until we ended up in a small tent that offers no security.
My family has endured more than we ever thought we could bear. But the hardest thing I'm facing now is that our tent has been empty of food for days, and we've completely run out of the most basic necessities.
We are seven people, most of us very young children, and we're asking for your help because we desperately need $300 to provide food and basic necessities to help us survive.
I know everyone is exhausted by the news from Gaza, but we can't afford to stop asking for help.
Please, I beg you a million times: don't leave us alone at this moment. Share our story and help us with any amount you can.
