In the heart of the forest, under the ancient oak, the wisdom whispers through the leaves: where strength meets generosity youtu.be/WfgBZ783ddQ

Donegal, Ireland
My fifth foray into poetry, When Balor Came West A psalm of wrath and remembrance, a liturgy for those who stood when the gods turned away. --- From the edge of the west, Balor came, fire in his gaze, shadows dragging behind him. The land darkened. People scattered north, feet thundering the earth, hearts pounding harder. Above them, on Aileach, stood three: Lugh, Macha, Dagda. Not kings. Not gods. Guardians. Bound by silence, not by weakness. To act was exile. To descend was to vanish. But love cracks even sacred pacts. They watched the people run the ones they'd never touched, but had grown to love in stillness. So when Balor came too close, they rose. Macha broke first, shattered the sky, wings unfurled, the scream before the strike. Feathers spiralled. The omen flew. Lugh descended not light, but thunder, a blow from the bones of the ground itself. The strike that cracks stone. Dagda raised his club, not rage, but rhythm. The field moved. The veil shook. One stroke was enough. Balor fell his gaze undone, that merciless eye finally shut. Life gasped back into the air. The people wept. Still they lit fires in the rain. But joy faded. They knew the cost. Exile loomed. The Marble Arch Caves opened. The sky closed. The ground stilled. The field slept. They left no temple. Only rhythm. Only the law: If ever again the world cracks wide, call, and we will rise. By: Eochu Ollathair 🌀

Do you know every time you move your neck it makes noises, hundreds of them a second, or it sounds like it? Anyway, the point is this, you can hear it if you listen, you can hear which parts actually need work. It is odd most won't listen.

Found this absolute weapon clinging to the side of the sauna. Turns out she’s a wood wasp, completely harmless and apparently too stupid to realise Donegal in September is no place for a summer holiday. I fucked her outside, felt guilty because she just sat there freezing in the rain, and brought her into the garage. I’ve provided emergency accommodation; the rest is between her and Darwin.

Macron is a disgrace, and France is heading for a reckoning, the numbers tell you that. He has been so useless at holding the centre together, with his bizarre backstory, endless failures and sheer political incompetence, that the centre will not even make the second round. That leaves a runoff between the right and the left, but these are not normal times and these are not normal political blocs. A large chunk of the centre will decide that the right is the safer option if the alternative is a radical left government. Macron’s failure, and much of the European Union’s wider political mess, was brought on by themselves.

This idiot asks a question but blocks everyone from answering. I have a few ideas: 1. Why not have backwards stingers that either shoot up or are there all the time? 2. Why not let the Gardai be robust like they used to be? You mess around, you find out hard.
It’s not entirely rare . I have incurred it a couple times times . One on motorway to Galway . Car came against me on motorway in the middle of the afternoon. Rang 999 to be told @GardaiSiochana were on the case . Worse was around 3am on M7 near Limerick, Car flying against me , luckily we were on different lanes . But how are Gardai expected to stop them - drive up wrong way on Motorway themselves in ‘pursuit’ ? ? 🤷🤷🤔🤔

Hey @AnthropicAI @DarioAmodei, quick question. If I have 14 hours left in my weekly allowance and still have 80% of my tokens left, why am I being hit with five-hour usage limits? I’m paying for capacity I apparently can’t use. That feels like thievery. @FTC @JusticeATR @AnthropicAI

Beautiful, my thick child, but it will make no difference. They are rounding on your arrogance. I am just here to help.

But he is the poster child for neoliberalism, i.e. absolute nonsense, the same old tired bullshit: men are women, weather is what you should pay for, and foreigners are local. In what is he not?

I wrote an op-ed for @BelTel Belfast Telegraph in response to a godawful column written by Allison Morris. The paper ghosted me for days, and then rejected it. So I've published it myself. thehelenjoyce.com/p/the-arti…

A blast from the past. An old picture of me holding the World Cup back when I worked in sports sponsorship at Octagon in 2002. A Scotsman holding the World Cup is a very rare thing.

So Sam had heard the rumours 16 years ago. Am I really supposed to believe Sinn Féin had not heard them too? Why did they not weaponise it for their end goal of a 32-county republic? What are they hiding? Or are they compromised as well? Who holds the dirt and keeps it quiet?
I put rumours of marriage split and gay lover to Donaldson 16 years ago... he sounded very nervous, and I sensed there was something he feared, writes @SJAMcBride belfasttelegraph.co.uk/comme…

Everyone knew, including Sinn Fein, and no one said anything, even when they could have made political capital to bring us closer to a 32-county Republic. Even now the comments are off.

Shooting in Dún Laoghaire. Lads in the yacht club nearly spilled their Pinot Grigio. Turns out it was in a housing estate half a mile away but saying that doesn't get the same clicks. RTÉ out here making it sound like someone opened fire in Teddy's ice cream queue

Sean loves the British Prime Minister because Sean is a shill. you do realise they still have 6 of our counties, you fucking halfwit
I’m really disappointed, but not surprised , at the manner , @Keir_Starmer was hounded out of Office .Forcing people to resign is now an obsession ! Keir Starmer was UK’s best & most respected PM in recent times . He brought @UKLabour back to power . UK’s problem isn’t Keir Starmer - it’s #Brexit ! Only really tough decisive action can undo the damage of Brexit . But, people want easy, magical solutions. I wish the next PM well in dealing with that conundrum ! Buíochas ó Éire , #KeirStarmer .

Here’s the secret about Bitcoin: it’s an unexploded bomb. It only lives because of the 21m cap. Flip that lever, raise the supply and it’s instantly worthless. It’s happened before (bet you never heard that), it can happen again. Not deleted, just swamped. All are the same

I drink a lot of drinks, especially in the sauna. My favourite is 5% Peroni, but this is a brilliant beer. It has a beautiful aftertaste and first taste.
