This weekend at @THS_hamptons, we were joined in conversation by @TheLeoTerrell, who chairs the U.S. Department of Justice's Task Force to Combat Antisemitism. We began by discussing the safety of our community in light of this weekend's events at the @CenSynNYC, an assault Leo was “horrified” by. I shared with the congregation how fortunate we are to have Leo at the helm of the task force, working to strengthen security for Jewish communities across the country. Hatred may test us this week. It will not define us. We remain grateful for leaders like Leo Terrell, and for a community that continues to gather in faith, in strength and in hope.
