Then all 10 ActBlue insiders deposed by Congress pleaded the Fifth.

FOREIGN CASH: House Republicans say their investigation into ActBlue is "far from over" after internal memos appear to show employees greenlighting donations despite red flags — including contributions tied to IP addresses in Hong Kong and donors with "all signs" pointing to Canada.
House Oversight Chairman James Comer, House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil, and Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan are all vowing additional depositions and document demands. The probe has already revealed that all 10 ActBlue employees and board members who appeared for closed-door depositions invoked the Fifth Amendment — including co-founder Matt DeBergalis and CEO Regina Wallace-Jones.
ActBlue is firing back, calling the investigation a "political stunt" and insisting "there's nothing to see here." The company has given no indication it plans to return any donations flagged in the report.

1. I’m familiar with most of these outfits from extensive personal experience.
2. If what you mean by “ethno nationalism” is that these groups promote white nationalism or racialist politics, this is a lie. None of them do.
3. If what you mean by “Christian nationalism” is that these groups seek to amend the Constitution to make Christianity the national religion, that’s a lie too. None of them do.
4. On the other hand, if you just mean that these organizations support conserving America’s national, religious, and moral inheritance—and would consider doing that partly through legislation or government policies—then sure, that’s obviously true.
5. But so what? Everyone already knows that conservatives want to conserve America’s national, religious, and moral inheritance. There’s nothing new in that.
6. The only thing that’s new here is that liberals now use the terms “ethno nationalist” and “Christian nationalist” as their preferred terms for making abusive comments about conservatives.
7. And you know, if that’s the way it is, I think I can live with it. The names they used to call us were a lot worse.
