The agreement on €6.6 billion under the European Peace Facility turns European solidarity into concrete defence capabilities for Ukraine.
€900 million will support EUMAM Ukraine, €1 billion will finance new joint procurement of military equipment, and €4.7 billion will reimburse Member States for previous military assistance.
We welcome the readiness of Member States to channel these reimbursements into further support for Ukraine. This is how every decision can generate the next round of military assistance.
Russia is trying to intimidate Europe into stepping back. Europe is doing the opposite: strengthening its defence, supporting Ukraine and investing in our shared security.

Російські дрони сьогодні цілий день атакували цивільну інфраструктуру Києва. Влучання в житловий будинок, удар по офісному центру, атака на будівлю Вищої ради правосуддя.
Жодного військового об’єкта. Єдина мета – терор цивільного населення.
Жахливі наслідки атаки дронів – загинули люди. Серед них 14-річний хлопчина, який на момент удару був удома. Десятки киян постраждали, серед поранених теж є діти.
Світ не повинен заплющувати очі на цей російський терор. Україна потребує систем ППО та зброї від партнерів просто зараз.
Ми знайдемо протидію російським дронам і обов’язково підготуємо свою відповідь.
Тримаймося. Підтримуймо одне одного.
Ми вистоїмо. На день довше, ніж вони.

Wer Stolpersteine verbietet und an einen Randort verlegen will, schiebt die Opfer der Nationalsozialisten an den Rand der Stadt und des Bewusstseins. Stolpersteine bringen die Erinnerung dorthin, wo die Verfolgten gelebt haben: vor ihre Haustür, mitten in den Alltag. Genau das macht ihre Kraft aus. Eine Gedenkfläche auf dem Friedhof, die man nur mit Vorsatz besucht, ist kein Ersatz, sondern der bequemere Weg des Vergessens.

I’ve never seen him this tired.
He used to crack jokes as funny as President Zelenskyy’s, and I always thought of him as one of the funniest people I’ve ever known.

Please Help Train Ukrainian Defenders: Enter the Raffle to Support the AFU Training Ground Logistics Unit!
This is my friend Max. I've known him for most of my life. Max is in charge of a newly formed unit that sets up training grounds.
I don't need to explain to you the importance of training for soldiers — it literally saves lives.
However, training hundreds of soldiers daily requires reliable logistics, specialized equipment, and tools.
Max and his unit will soon start operating in eastern Ukraine along the front lines.
This means that dugouts will need to be built as quickly as possible, and everything will have to be set up for the instructors in the minimum amount of time.
Unfortunately, their unit lacks the tools needed to operate quickly and efficiently (see the list in the thread below).
I want to help Max's unit get what they need because it wouldn't just mean helping one soldier or one unit — it'll boost the combat readiness and survival rate of countless units.
