Outrageous day at the state house. I’m a little heated. Just had to vote no on $300 million+ of earmarks, including for flock cameras and immigrations lawyers for illegals. It passed anyway.

Spoke at a data center protest in Spartanburg yesterday. My message? State and local governments need to be accountable to the people, not the powerful corporations. But that won’t happen until people get mad enough to hold politicians accountable through elections and change the way government does business in SC.

Trump spent $800,000 the Friday before the election on robocalls to get out the vote. They targeted voters 65 and older who normally don’t vote in primaries in the Lowcountry. The robocall said to vote for Darline because Ralph Norman would cut Social Security. That resulted in 100,000 more voters in the runoff than in the primary two weeks prior. Using a Democrat scare tactic to deceive elderly voters is shameful! #WriteInRalphNorman

Thank you, Lord. Miguel seems to be almost out of the woods. It’s looking good. Thank you everyone for your prayers, encouragement, sympathy, door dash, offers to help transport our kids, and other offers of support and assistance. Good news first: Miguel hasn’t had a fever for several hours now. He has regained strength, and a semblance of an appetite. It was very scary, but today he ate for the first time in 8 days. What happened? We don’t know. What seems to have done the trick was a general antibiotic that was designed to treat Rocky Mountain spotted fever, Lyme disease, and other similar diseases. Hospital staff ran all sorts of exams and tests, and we are still waiting on some results as well. They deduced the illness could be an infectious disease stemming from a mosquito or tick bite so they went forward on treatment. We don’t know when Miguel can come home but with continued improvement I suspect tonight or tomorrow. Today is the first day he hasn’t had a fever so we are very grateful and relieved. He is pretty handsome and he is all smiles now. As my good friend, Ty, said when he came to visit: “Miguel, there’s easier ways to skip school.” On behalf of the Beach family, we love you and thank you.

Our SC legislators hate us.

You should be anti-Flock, unequivocally. They have no purpose other than mass surveillance of citizens. Fighting crime? Ludicrous. Ask any police in any city— they know who commits the crimes. It’s the same people over and over. They don’t need cameras to catch them. They arrest them, and the courts let them back out onto the street over and over again. Flock does nothing to stop that cycle. It does nothing to reduce crime or get criminals off the streets. Of course, the government is the architect of the crime wave and they did this so that citizens would beg for the tyrannical solution. But those cameras are for monitoring people who are a threat to the government, not people who are a threat to you and your loved ones. They are putting in place the infrastructure to crack down on dissidents and then they will prosecute you under their vague “domestic terrorism” laws. The writing on the wall should be obvious.

Imagine 105 million illegal aliens gaining amnesty and voting. The Civil War is child’s play next to this. Not because of guns. Because of votes. Amnesty for 105 million is not compassion. It is a replacement of the electorate. After that, the Second Amendment is a museum piece. Heinlein, author of Starship Troopers, had the line: "That which is given has no value." Hand someone a country and they do not inherit Iwo Jima. They inherit a gift they already resent you for giving. Tillis and that gang are selling the gift.

Those three are innocent. They were with me at the State House. There were witnesses but I wouldn’t trust them.

Because S.C. House has more attorneys than any other statehouse in the nation? It’s all funded by your tax dollars. “It’s a big club, and we’re not in it.”

So much corruption, at all levels! At least we have fighters in the @SCFreedomCaucus
