My little boy has been in the hospital this week. He stopped eating last Thursday and is very sick. The doctors have been doing nonstop tests but they don’t know what’s wrong. Glair has been at his side and I came straight back to the hospital after session yesterday. Please pray for my Miguel.

Outrageous day at the state house. I’m a little heated. Just had to vote no on $300 million+ of earmarks, including for flock cameras and immigrations lawyers for illegals. It passed anyway.

I moved to red South Carolina as a refugee from a blue state—and nothing frustrates this mom more than watching people flee the consequences of failed policies, move here, and then vote to recreate the very same policies they left behind.
If you want DEI, radical gender ideology pushed on kids, government overriding parents, inappropriate material in children’s spaces, abortion with virtually no limits, higher taxes, sanctuary policies, defunding police, and weakening ICE—there are plenty of blue states already embracing those policies.
South Carolina doesn’t need to become New York, California, or Minnesota.
You left those policies behind for a reason. Please don’t bring them here.
I came to South Carolina because I love the values of this state. I want to preserve them—not turn SC into the place so many of us left.

True "conservative" lawmakers should vote "NO" on the proposed budget compromise - AND the massive proposed pork bill.
