I signed my name onto the Promoting Agriculture Safeguards and Security Act aka the PASS Act.     American farmers work tirelessly to feed our communities, strengthen our food security, and steward the land that sustains our nation. This common-sense legislation takes a straightforward approach to a real threat on our soil. I’m proud to stand with farmers and landowners across America, especially in South Carolina. It’s imperative we safeguard our farmland and protect our national security from adversarial countries like China.

My opponent is just way too radical for South Carolina.

Today in @SenJudiciaryGOP we sent two more of President Trump’s conservative judicial nominees to the Senate floor for consideration. One of the nominees - Judge Anna St. John - has been nominated for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Prior to her service as a district court judge, she was a champion for several important causes, including religious freedom and protecting women’s sports. These are exactly the type of nominees who deserve a lifetime appointment to the federal judiciary. I’m proud to cast a “yes” vote for nominees like Judge St. John in committee - and eventually, on the Senate floor.

Proud to join my @SenateGOP colleagues in confirming another one of President Trump’s conservative judicial nominees – Angela Colmenero.   With a 50-47 vote, Judge Colmenero will be on the federal bench for life.

I’m a volleyball mom. There’s nothing I love more than watching my daughter play. I’ve traveled to gyms and towns across South Carolina and the Southeast following our team and cheering on our girls.   I know one simple truth: boys have no place in girls’ sports.

Not a single Democrat joined us today in standing up for women’s sports and to hear the brave testimony on the dangers of allowing men to compete in women’s sports.   What a shame.

Getting these F-35s to South Carolina is extremely important to supporting our warfighters in the South Carolina Air National Guard. This is why I am proud to be the lead author from the House on this bicameral, bipartisan letter.

McEntire Joint National Guard Base is uniquely equipped to house the F-35A and that is no accident. The South Carolina Air National Guard leadership has worked in concert with our state’s leadership at all levels to ensure McEntire is ready to receive the F-35A. In addition, the 169th Fighter Wing has proven itself, excelling in both quality of personnel and mission completion. I’m proud to lead the South Carolina delegation along with @RepSheriBiggs to urge Secretary Meink to send F-35s to South Carolina.

I have spoken with local leaders in Walhalla, including Mayor Hall, City Administrator Poulson and Chamber President McBride about the devastating fire last week that affected several shops and businesses on Main Street. I am committed to doing all I can in my role as U.S. Senator to support the Walhalla community.
