They're paying out HUGE amounts to SEC and BIG10.
Why?
They get the most viewers.
Why would ESPN want more SEC schools in the playoffs?

At some point, an 11-2 Big 12 team is getting left out of a CFP for a 9-3 SEC team with 3 ranked losses to teams who finished unranked.
NEW: The College Football Playoff committee will now consider a strength-of-conference metric in its selection process, @CFBHeather reports.
The new metric will help determine the strength of each conference based on the schedule strength of each team in its league.
