It’s a good reminder that you can just do stuff. How many positions of power in your community go by default to boomer libs because others don’t go for them?
One of my local national forests was advertising for board seats to vote on and direct rural funds within the forest. I emailed the FS and got a prompt reply. I was the only one who had reached out about the position. Previously, the board had mostly been retired hippies from the Bay Area who lived hours away. But because the law favors locals, come 2027, a local right wing conservation chud will be voting on directing those funds. It’s a very small amount of power. But it will only cost me 8 hours a year.
Find something to do. It’s easy to blackpill and feel demoralized when you focus on national level issues you have little influence over as a regular person. But what influence can you have locally? Even if it’s symbolic. Hell, my local water board hates our liberal state government so much they voted to secede. 😂 All momentum starts with a small movement. Find yours, American. 🇺🇸

There have been a lot of stories of late about @SeanParnellUSA being considered to be our next Secretary of the Army.
I hope it’s true.
Sean is a good friend, a decorated combat veteran, a true patriot, and a fellow Pennsylvanian. As I said when he joined the Trump administration, Dina and I are very proud of him and Melanie and their great family.
I have full confidence that if Sean is given the honor of serving in this role, he will do so with courage and distinction.

You can pay into the system your entire life and be waiting in line behind someone who has never paid a dime. Sad.

What’s crazy is I found this is not uncommon in Canada, and can actually even take much longer than this
On the faster end for high priority major cancer it takes 6–12 weeks from the “we think we can operate” meeting to the OR, plus 4–8 weeks of extra tests beforehand
3- 6 months of sequential waits
Slower provinces can take 6–12 months or more. Quebec’s public lists show thousands waiting for obstetric, gynecologic surgery. The lists show hundreds of people already past 6–12 months mark in waiting
We do not want universal healthcare like this in America

Part of that leadership must be commonsense market structure, as we have done with cryptocurrency, to ensure that not only do we have the best models in the world, but we also have the most effective governance structure.

25 years ago, enemies of freedom attacked our nation. Their goal was simple: murder Americans and destroy our way of life. They failed.
Today, we remember those we lost on 9/11 and in the wars that followed. We honor the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, service members, and ordinary Americans who ran into the danger to save others. They are a testament to the bravery, resilience, and unity of the American spirit.
Today we also remember to fight. The weapons have changed, but our enemies continue to attack our nation and our people in vicious ways. We must stand and fight with the same tenacity as our heroes did on 9/11.
