Four more noncitizens now face federal election charges in Pennsylvania.
One of them allegedly submitted eight fraudulent voter registration applications. Another allegedly voted in Chester County in both 2022 and 2024.
As I've said before, every illegal ballot dilutes the vote of a Pennsylvanian who followed the law. Republicans and Democrats should be able to agree on that.
Thank you, @USAttyMetcalf, for making it clear that illegal voting in the Commonwealth will be prosecuted.
Prosecuting it after the fact matters. Stopping it before a ballot is ever cast matters more. That's what the SAVE America Act does, by requiring proof of citizenship to register and photo ID to vote. The Senate should pass it.
It is double the offense to our country when aliens first enter our nation illegally, and then violate our sovereignty again by voting in our elections. The Department of Justice will not let that happen anymore: Today we announce the latest series of noncitizen voter fraud charges against four individuals: Cliff Sanon, Dilea Ochoa-Perez, Sade Guppy, and Eduardo Gallardo Maldonado.
These charges are just allegations, and every defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. However, this is another meaningful step forward to restoring the integrity of our elections. "We the People" means American citizens, and only American citizens, decide who gets to govern us.

Today our office charged 10 defendants who operated an immense Philadelphia-based narcotics trafficking conspiracy sourced and supplied by a Mexican cartel to the tune of over 300 kilograms of cocaine. Led by Greg Jones and Edward Basley, two previous federal drug trafficking convicts who obtained early release from their sentences, this DTO streamed poison into our communities for years. No more. This is a triumph of the HSTF and representative of our ongoing success to disrupt and dismantle the narcotics networks of the cartels.

Dina and I are heartbroken by the passing of James Copenhaver.
Jim fought for two years after that horrific day in Butler. He endured multiple surgeries, lived with permanent injuries, and carried bullet fragments in his body until the very end. No American should have to suffer like this simply for attending a political rally.
Our hearts are with his family as they grieve, just as Corey Comperatore’s family continues to live with the unimaginable loss of that day.
The hatred that fueled the violence in Butler has left families forever changed. Political differences can never justify bloodshed. We must reject political violence wherever it takes root.
Pennsylvania will never forget Jim or Corey Comperatore. May God bless his family and may he rest in peace.
