🚨 US LAWMAKERS ARE NOW PREPARING FOR THE AI BUBBLE TO BURST. House Democrats have introduced a resolution opposing government bailouts for AI companies if the industry crashes. Instead of rescuing them with taxpayer money, lawmakers want failed AI companies to go through normal bankruptcy. And the timing is extremely concerning. Some of the world's biggest tech companies are investing billions into AI startups that spend heavily on their products. • Nvidia invests in CoreWeave, which buys Nvidia chips. • Microsoft invests in OpenAI, which spends billions on Microsoft's cloud services. • Amazon invests in Anthropic, which uses Amazon's cloud infrastructure. Billions are moving between companies that are becoming increasingly dependent on each other's spending. And lawmakers are raising concerns about the growing use of borrowed money by Big Tech and Wall Street to finance the AI boom. The resolution is not law, but it shows that some lawmakers are already worried about what happens if the industry collapses. If AI startups run out of funding, they could be forced to slash spending or declare bankruptcy, leaving their investors and suppliers facing massive losses. And without government bailouts, a major failure could spread across chipmakers, cloud providers, banks and the broader stock market. The biggest risk is that one major AI bankruptcy could trigger losses across an entire industry worth trillions.

Or we can stop AI now. It doesn’t have to be inevitable just cause billionaires say so
People underestimate what happens when mass layoffs begin. Families stop spending. Businesses lose customers. Mortgage payments get missed. Banks face pressure. More jobs disappear. It’s a domino effect. I genuinely worry we could see this play out between 2026 and 2028. Build your savings while you still can.

Why are AI bros so whiny LMAO “Yeah we support the technology that steals everything, has numerous ethical issues, and is/is hoping to replace all creative career fields! Why are you so mean to me :(“ Embarrassing pattern I’ve been seeing 😭

HE’S STILL TALKING ABOUT STEAM
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney says Valve "has held gaming back for years." Sweeney was replying to Kiaran Ritchie, a former principal animation programmer at Epic, who criticized Steam's 30% cut and said "You could vibe code a Steam alternative in a week." Sweeney wrote that Valve locks developers' PC games into "Steamworks' social walled garden where players can't talk to other players on iOS, Android, Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, or even other PC stores." A community note was added saying many games use Steamworks only for authentication to allow crossplay and handle the rest themselves. Sweeney called the note "fake," saying Steam Datagram Relay "isn't related to the things I cited: social, and players talking to each other across platforms." Source: @pcgamer
