One powerful thing I’ve learned in the last couple years is how little I now care to ever be a part of any para church ministry again and how deep my love is for the local church!

And so it begins! What’s a weekend with @D_B_Harrison without stopping at @WaffleHouse! We were only missing @Phil_Johnson_!

Hard to believe it's been a year since we lost our valiant brother, Voddie Baucham. I still remember the shock when @tomascol called and said, "I think we just lost Voddie." One year later, I still grieve over this loss. I wish I could hear his voice today. I've particularly missed his voice in the past six months. Voddie was a true friend! Right after BNG dropped the hit piece on me to try to destroy me, I will never forget Voddie calling and what he said: "I read that article and it in no way represents the man I know!" I wept then and even now remembering that day brings me to tears. I've learned a lot through the trials I've gone through in the past ten years and the last few months. One thing I've learned is how it's hard to lose a friend like Voddie and what a privilege it is to even have one man in your life like him. Such men are truly few and far between. I am blessed to have multiple men in my life like this: @ryantaber @tomascol @Phil_Johnson_ @virgilwalker @LewisRicherson @PastorMikeStone @jonbenz My friend list has been culled in recent years, but how truly blessed I am to still have men like this in my life. But today, I specifically thank God for my brother, Voddie, who is in a far better place and I look forward to talking with him again in glory! "A man of too many friends comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Proverbs 18:24 Voddie Baucham was that type of friend!
I hoped never to have to make this post. Pray for the Bauchams. A warrior has died. founders.org/articles/the-de…

I accidentally left off @D_B_Harrison off my list. I thought he was on there. But I obviously saved the best for last! Love you, Darrell!

Voddie Baucham Jr. passed away one year ago on September 25, 2025. This was his last sermon before his death, delivered on Sunday, September 21st, 2025 at his home church, Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, FL. May you be challenged and encouraged by our dear brother’s words, and press on to love Christ and His bride more every day. piped.video/watch?v=7nX2MzSD…

Evil men will often play on the good Christian instincts of godly men in order to persist in, cover up, or excuse their evil acts.

When any person faces adversity, they will choose one of two paths: compromise or character. Regardless of the cost, always choose character. Jesus said, “Take up my cross and follow me.”

1 Peter 4:8 says that "love covers a multitude of sins," not love "covers up" a multitude of sins.

Why do they announce to the fans at high school football games to not boo the refs? How about announcing to the refs to not do anything that would cause the fans to boo them?! 🤷‍♂️

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
