During my trip to Ecuador, I congratulated several @USCG crew members of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Stone for an incredible—and record setting—patrol. By interdicting nearly 25 tons of drugs, these brave men and women are helping us defeat the narco-terrorists who threaten our nation and poison our citizens.

In Ecuador, I was pleased to recognize @USCG Seaman Luis Santiago’s significant contributions to our counter drug operations—the first patrol of his career. Seaman Santiago volunteered to serve as a Spanish Interpreter for the Panama Canal transit and three counter drug boardings directly supporting the interdiction of over 3.6 tons of cocaine and the apprehension of eight suspected narco-traffickers. America is proud of you, Seaman Santiago!

President Trump designating ANTIFA as a terrorist organization is one more example of his commitment to safer communities and law and order. Making America Safe Again. He proves everyday why he is the greatest President in my lifetime!

This week I visited the sanctuary cities of San Diego, Portland, Seattle, and Tacoma to speak to the men and women of ICE and CBP and let them know that President Trump and I have their six… we will not negligently ignore the laws that Congress has enacted nor will we turn our backs on U.S. communities when criminal illegal aliens are plaguing their streets. Every crime that has been committed by an illegal alien was a preventable crime. God bless the victims of this lawlessness. Sanctuary cities are only sanctuaries for criminals, PERIOD. Efforts to impede immigration enforcement operations and protect public safety threats are beyond shameful. They are abhorrent and make no sense. What is wrong with state and local leaders when they refuse to work with federal law enforcement to remove dangerous people from their streets, and even better, from this country??? Nobody wants public safety threats in their neighborhood and that is why President Trump is prioritizing ICE enforcement actions in those communities. President Trump has committed to holding these lawless communities accountable. He is also committed to a zero tolerance stance on anyone that assaults, intimidates, or interferes with our law enforcement personnel, or otherwise violates 18 U.S. Code 111. You cross that line, and you will be arrested and prosecuted under the Trump Administration. We have already seen a record number of prosecutions. President Trump promised to American voters that he will make our country safe again, and that is exactly what we are doing…with honor and without apology

THE TRUMP EFFECT BREAKS YET ANOTHER HISTORIC RECORD. In the month of July 2025 the Border Patrol recorded a total of 4,598 total apprehensions on our 2000 mile plus southern border. That is the lowest number ever recorded - EVER. And ZERO releases. Compare that total of 4,598 in a month to over 10,000 a day under Biden on many days. The men and women of the Border Patrol have shattered their own records for the past several months. We have the most secure border in the history of this nation and the data proves it. President Trump has been a game changer and his leadership makes the country safer every day. With strong border security you have stronger national security. Helping tremendously in that regard are the men and women of ICE who have already arrested over 160,000 illegal aliens within the US with the vast majority being public safety and national security threats.
