We represent four alleged victims who were sexually assaulted by Ramon Ayala, Jr. while serving as members of the Grammy winning band Ramón Ayala y Sus Bravos del Norte. Last week one of the alleged victims made a formal criminal complaint with authorities. As part of that complaint a pair of bloody shorts were provided along with a medical report from the day of the alleged assault documenting anal fissures and tears as a result of the assault. We are calling on the authorities to fully investigate this matter and act quickly, as appropriate.

As a Hispanic who grew up on Ramon Ayala. I was very disappointed to read this. While we know innocent until proven guilty and this is alleged. What has come out so far is alarming. I know Mexican Americans and Hispanics all over who grew up on his music are going to struggle with accepting the reality of this. But we must not accept this behavior or make excuses for it just because he is the son of a Tejano legend. All those who looked the other way and who justified it or made excuses for it should also be held accountable. God bless the victims and may the Lord give them strength through this.

Tony, I grew up in Linden and worked at the Journal when your dad was Precinct 4 commissioner. Sonny Carney was my brother-in-law. I saw you brilliantly and successfully defend Paxton in his faux impeachment trial. He's got my vote.
