New Bridge Hotel has made that part of town off-limits for my daughters. Concentrating large numbers of single male asylum seekers in the middle of Newcastle and then acting surprised when one of them attacks a woman is not an accident. It’s a choice. And women and girls are paying for it. I can't hate this government any more.
Imran Khaliq is a Director and co-owner of the Gainford Group, the hospitality and care company that owns the New Bridge Hotel in Newcastle.
The same hotel that is now proven to be housing dangerous men.

Danny Tommo was refused bail at Basingstoke this morning and remanded until Portsmouth Crown Court on the 29th after pleading not guilty to criminal damage on a dinghy and refusing his phone PIN. Hundreds stood outside a police station last night while the court kept him in. Rapists and violent attackers walk on bail when the story suits the bench. A slashed boat does not. That is not caution. That is a political choice.

This was a protest outside the Israeli embassy in London a few years ago when Muslims started attacking police with bottles used as missiles.
So WHY are they allowed to to cause extreme violence and no action is taken.
I’m not saying two wrongs don’t make a right, but this is clearly Two Tier Policing with Two Tier Justice thrown in as well.

Cases that embarrass the state wait months. Cases that challenge the boats get the full treatment in under two days. If justice was even, this would not look so easy.

I'm genuinely at boiling point with all of this. They keep talking like this is under control while the next load is already being processed into hotels the rest of us cannot get near. Courts stall, removals barely happen, and ministers act surprised every time another flotilla makes it over as if the Channel is some mystery they cannot solve. It is not a mystery. They either will not stop it or they have decided the public can just absorb it, and that is why people are furious.

The French coastguard is now ferrying them halfway across so our Border Force can finish the job in the middle of the Channel, and somehow this is still treated as border control rather than organised delivery. Another load handed over in daylight, another set of coaches waiting, another reminder that the beaches and the rules only work one way while the people paying for the hotels are told to keep quiet and accept it as normal.

Peaceful locals showing up in numbers and forcing the Home Office to abort the landing at Gosport is exactly what happens when people stop accepting the lie that this is sustainable, and the fact the boat is now heading east only underlines that the system will keep shopping around for the next quiet spot until every coastal town has had its turn.
WOW. Power to the people! There were so many people in attendance at Gosport and so much publicity that the Home Office have aborted the docking at Gosport of the illegal migrant boats. They are now travelling eastwards.
If that doesn’t prove what people power can truly do, when people come out in numbers, I don’t know what does.

Ordinary people turning out without masks to stop another boat being landed in the dark is not extremism, it is what happens when towns already waiting years for housing and GP appointments are told to absorb more while the state hides the route and still calls the borders secure. English only for council communications in Norfolk is the kind of common sense that should never have needed a motion. You live here, you speak the language of the country. Every pound spent translating official papers into half a dozen other tongues is a pound not spent on the people who actually live and pay here. Well done to the councillors who forced it through. Lets hope this can filter across the rest of the UK.

You live in Norfolk, you speak English. End of story.
Council communication should be provided in English.
Not Arabic, or Kurdish, or Romanian, or whatever else.

That’s exactly what our Restore Britain/GYF councillors have just delivered.
Our motion means the council has resolved to…
- Adopt a policy that Norfolk County Council communications, publications, consultations, correspondence, advertising, and public information materials will be produced in English.
- Retain and improve British Sign Language services.
- Ask Cabinet to instruct the Chief Executive to undertake a review of all current expenditure on translation, interpretation, and foreign language publication services across Norfolk County Council.
- Require that the review identify…
The total annual cost of such services;
The departments in which such costs are incurred;
The savings that will arise from adopting this policy.
- Require the findings of the review, together with recommendations for implementation, to be reported to Council.
This is a big win for the people of Norfolk, and Restore Britain councillors all over the country will now be looking to replicate this in their own councils.

17,480 have already come across this year and another packed boat has been sitting out there under French military escort for more than a day heading for Portsmouth while a minister stands up and tells everyone the borders are secure. You can watch the pictures of the escort in real time and still hear the same line about isolated and rare. That is not control. That is a government hoping the weather or the French navy does the job they refuse to do themselves.
