A lot of people are trying to excuse the USC players behavior after that nasty hit yesterday by saying it was an “emotional” game. That it’s a “rivalry” game. Sorry. That’s a disgusting excuse. There are few games more emotional than Ohio State/Michigan. There is no bigger rivalry. And that didn’t stop Devin Gardner from going out to check on JT Barrett when he was injured at the start of the fourth quarter. It was a close game, 28-21. And Gardner, obviously, didn’t even cause the injury. He’s just a decent human being. There is quite literally no excuse for what we saw yesterday. And if you find yourself trying to make one, maybe don’t.
*also, do not get used to me saying nice things about Michigan players. Gardner is it. And he deserves it.

I was cheering hard for Iowa against Michigan, and it was a tough watch lol
Glad they won, but their offense was horrendous. Michigan has a decent defense, but Iowa just couldn’t do anything!
If Ohio State scores 30 points (they will), Iowa has no chance of winning.
