There is not many actors/actresses that became the face of not one, but two absolutely iconic characters.
Picard is a absolute cultural phenomenon. People that never saw a episode of Stat Trek, know this character, his look and who he was in real life. He crossed the boundaries of cultural relevance and shined bright like the stars he explored, bringing true acting to a show in which it stood out and led the way for the whole cast.
But then, he took up the Helm once again as a leader, but of the comic book super smash hit, the X-Men.
Those first X-Men movies paved the way for super hero movies and his performance of Charles Xavier was so good, it brought comics once again blasting through boundaries of culture and making the character, and its team, culturally relevant outside of people whom like comics.
He filled the role and looked the part to such a degree, I cant see Chalres Xavier another way. Looks, voice, demeanor, he embodied and re-defined the character and brought it to new heights.
He was reveered as a great person,.which is where the legacy becomes GOAT type levels of awesome..
Travel well my brother, as you rocket past the stars you once explored, take with you the thought that were all rooting for your journey to bring you the happiness that you brought to so many people.
Rest in Power you bad ass motherfucker.
