To everyone who thinks about supporting
$Mirror, consider the following facts:
- Nader raised a treasury worth >$150M (now spread across trusts that benefit him and his family) from supporters to create DESO, a (not so) decentralized social network. He made promises he never delivered on. He got sued by both SEC and DOJ. He stopped providing regular updates and support for the community, even after the settlement. He “revealed” that he worked the last two years on Mirror, with funds raised in order to build out DESO. The next lawsuit is lining up because of this. And even if one thinks that this is legal.. what’s the need to raise new funds from “new blood” (his own words) when you’re sitting on $150M+ ?
- maybe just do your due diligence and have a word with supporters from DESO/ Focus and see what they say after getting to know Nader for the past few years. For some of them you might be their last hope to get some exit liquidity. But the majority is at a point where they just do not want to support this cash grab any longer.. even if it is harming them financially.
