Apparently everyone is fleeing Seattle now. Welcome to Miami!
Redfin released data showing where people were searching for homes outside of their own state, and Seattle is not only the top spot for people wanting to leave; It has more than double the people per capita than 2nd place San Jose, and has the 2nd highest amount of people by raw numbers, behind NYC, all looking at houses outside of Washington state. We continue to be first and last, on charts you don't want to be first and last on. H/T @WAPolicyGreen

Evernorth expects to list on Nasdaq as XRPN. If and when that bell rings, we don't plan to walk out alone. This community took the hits nobody else would. The least we can do is show up with them. We're collaborating with BearChamp, the fighter and XRP community member the Chicago artist @JCRivera invented after being told he couldn't become one. One directive: roll with the punches. This community has been running that play for a decade. Expect apparel, storytelling and a front-row seat to the Evernorth x BearChamp collaboration. The US 10Y Note Yield is now moving in a literal straight-line higher, up to 5.13%. This is no longer an issue that we have months or years to address. This is unsustainable.

1/ This one stings. Our team gave everything we had to get the Clarity Act across the finish line. So did most of the industry. This was an opportunity bigger than Ripple or one company - we did this for the industry, for consumers and to cement the US’s position as the crypto capital of the world and as a leader in the future of finance. Ultimately, consumers and U.S. competitiveness got left behind. 2/ A post mortem needs to be done on why this failed (more from me on that in the days ahead). The politics of the democrats (the anti-crypto army) was elevated over good policy. 3/ There is still reason for optimism for crypto in the United States. Now, the SEC, under Chair Atkins, and the CFTC, under Chair Selig, will continue to work hard to issue rules to fill the legislative gap and we will continue to be actively engaged in that rule making process. 4/ Ripple's business has never been stronger — real demand across traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem. A missed vote in Washington doesn't change our momentum, our global footprint, or our customers.

Strong liability enforcement could be helpful in the AI debate. If your agent swarm goes rogue, you’re liable. If your weakly protected model gets jailbroken, you’re liable. If you serve a weakly protected OSS model, you’re liable.

What about China?
I agree with Dario that we need to pace the frontier. This has been a primary topic of discussions we've had at OpenAI in recent weeks. Committing to having independent evaluators with employee-like access is a great idea, and we will do the same. We'll have more to share soon.
